  3. https://imgur.com/gallery/fYWqIsG So, another two cents' worth: As mentioned, get the card tray out first. I realized that the one screw that gave both gelraen and myself trouble is under tension, which is probably the issue. I unfortunately happened to leave that one for last, it should probably be done first, while the screen support is being held by the other two screws. Also as mentioned, the F(x)tec .pdf describes the required screwdriver as PH0. That will not work, they are either PH00 or PH0000. I was able to reuse the little black stickers. Just peel them carefu

  4. HINT: Clicking the images does nothing, BUT if you right click and select to open in a new tab, you get the images in a much higher resolution. Especially interesting with the (currently) last one where the battery and other stuff are visible.

  5. Firefox. Chrome. Epiphany. Probably every browser ever, cuz I've been using it as long as I can remember so probably even IE, but those are the only ones I have currently installed to test it with. Is there some other keyboard shortcut to get there? I can adapt if there's another way.... But I didnt know you used alt for int'l characters in FxQwerty. Even if android apps don't typically use alt for shortcuts (which I didnt know), it would probably interfere with application shortcuts in dosbox and vnc, etc....The normal android keymaps use right-alt, which fxtec doesn't give yo

  6. Alt+D would be nice to put cursor in address bar (like desktop browser).

  7. The headset model should not have anything to say here - in Jack socket the plug is recognized over a hardware switch, so even if You input the plug without anything connected to it the switch closes and should be recognized, unless there is some real hardware/software issue.

  9. Yes, using it as my primary phone for 2 months unfortunately leaves a visible mark on the back of the device. But it seems only on the back, not elsewhere. When it wasn't in the car holder, I kept it in a horizontal belt bag or a desk holder... I'm sure I'll give Pro2 a chance too, because the direction is good :)

  10. Not yet. Someone asked me to keep it for him, but now I’m starting to run out of patience because the device has been resting in the box for a month. I was thinking around 650 EUR + shipping from Hungary. I prefer Revolut, but I can take payment by PayPal, too.

  11. Hi Goodman_ J, do you mind sharing the stl file of the protective case, so that it can be a foundation for us to work on, and we can print it on our own. Thank you.

  12. Given what an aggravation it is to get the hinge detached, I'd be happy to lose a sticker or two if it came to that.

  13. Several people asked for photos. So far I've sent it to everyone separately, but it's easier if I put some here... :)

  14. My local phone guy wouldn't touch it because he had no idea what it was. Fair. I let it dry, been checking once a week or so, I've accepted it's not coming back to life. I contacted f(x)tec, who responded very promptly given the current state of the world, and offered a very generous discount under their service replacement policy. I was not expecting that at all, as they really have no responsibility for this mishap beyond releasing a phone that they transparently stated had no waterproofing. I asked if trying to service it would void that offer, and they replied as long as I can put it

  16. i laughed ! But the delay put up a real concern, it was kind of OK to buy a phone with a Snapdragon 835 in July 2019, but with all the delays, this cpu in June 2020 is less and less appealing. Fxtec really needs to put up something for the ones who will get their phones nearly 1 year after they paid for a phone supposed to be shipped in a few weeks after they paid...

  17. I've had this issue ever since I got my Pro1, but I finally got annoyed enough to ask about it. I'm running the latest version of the stock firmware (20200306), and every time I plug in my 3.5mm wired headphones (Sony MDR-E829V) the Pro1 takes around 8 seconds to recognize that they are plugged in and switch over the sound. This means that quite often I plug in my headphones, press play on something, and then awkwardly get sound over the loudspeakers for a few seconds until it's switched over. And since I never had a device that behaved like this (and I've used these kinds of Sony he
