  1. Looking at a pic that I took yesterday on the rear camera in portrait mode. The EXIF data says rotation is "4", eg. bottom-left. If I remove the EXIF data, the image rotates +90 so that the top is shown on the right side. So it seems the physical camera sensor is mounted sideways. I can see how an app would generate a picture that is sideways, but I am confused how an app would generate a picture that is upside down. I'll have to look into this some more.

  2. Just for generel info. When rotating an image, until some years ago, the image information was 'resampled' to give the wanted direction. BUT there is also a FLAG in the EXIF metadata, telling if the image is to be rotated 0°, 90°, 180° or 270° Unfortunately still not all viewers/handlers respects this!! So in one context a file may show correct, and in another in the native original data's orientation, that is: rotated compared to what was intended. The purpose of this flag is to make rotation fast and easy, while keeping all image information. The price is that the image is to be rotat

  6. I might be wrong but I think that if you setup Android phone without Google account and do not connect the phone to network then you are pretty much "safe" even if you press that agree button. Then you can enable OEM unlock and flash what ever you want. Or you can also go through pre-installed apps and uninstall/disable everything related to Google (if possible) before connecting to network.

  7. I don't have a direct view of percentages but I'll say that I've had no issues with mine. On the unofficial discord pro1 chat we +/- keep track of who has a Pro1 and who has a hardware issue (and there's plenty of chit chat). Currently 29 people shown online are marked as having the phone, 1 of which has broken screen due to a fall and another I know had an issue and got his phone replaced under warranty. It seems to me a fairly small minority. Some major things have been fixed, Android 10 not yet. Lineage (now official Lineage) and Sailfish are rolling nicely.

  8. Thank you all a lot! Knowing that it is slightly more to the upper right (I thought it would be centered, slightly above the FxTec logo) might help with future tries of payments.
