  1. Thanks for the guide. In order to avoid having to install an "unofficial" Magisk module (Gpay SQlite fix) I simply used "props" command (from Magisk Hide Props Config module) to change my phone's signature to that of a Sony Xperia 10 II (Android 10). This instantly allowed SafetyNet to pass and adding cards to GPay.

  2. I just recently installed AICP on my Pro1 and, in another thread, I was asked how I went about getting root and Safetynet working, including Google Pay working. It was pretty straight-forward really, but I had to dig around a bit to figure it out. Here are the exact steps, as best I recollect them. This may not be the best or only way, but it worked for me. And thanks to a number of developers/contributors and forum posts which I consulted while figuring out this process. - Wipe phone, fastboot flash Lineage recovery, then adb sideload AICP and NikGapps ZIPs. Checked phone boots into Andr

  3. IIRC, there never was OTA updates. This was an unofficial version maintained by @tdm, He has currently dropped off the radar, here at least. I have moved over to Lineage 18.1, which is too bad because I much prefer AICP.

  4. The Fxtec signature didn't work for me. That's why I chose the Sony one. EDIT: Well, of course, I ran the props command and it showed the current signature my device had. I compared it to the Pro1 key available from the list and found out they were the same. So I didn't confirm the changes and tried safetynet and Gpay, both failed. Maybe if I had confirmed the props script (even though signatures were the same between current and new one), it would have worked? On the surface it seemed nothing was being changed, but maybe the script would still change something even if confirming wit

  5. Yes, that did it for me, too; except that there actually is an Fxtec Pro1 signature, too, which is what I chose, and it worked as well 🙂

  6. Yeah. It's just such a shame that 18-ish years ago I could nuke my Palm Zire 71, do whatever experiments I wanted, and then put it on the cradle, press a button, and everything would be recovered. Android is still a mess of some apps that restore their configs, some that don't, etc. Just awful.

  8. Hello, Got my used Pro1 off ebay several months ago and has worked beautifully since then running Lineage OS 17.1. But this morning I found that it won't turn on and it won't charge, or at least the indicator light for charging doesn't show up. Some more info: I use a 1 amp qi receiver plugged into my phone and use a wireless charging pad to charge my phone. I usually leave the phone on the pad, so it's usually at 100% most days. I was using the phone pretty heavily yesterday: on a call for several hours. But the phone has never been dropped while in my possession
