  1. I'd say : - Being optimistic is always expecting a positive outcome ; - Being pessimistic is always expecting a negative outcome ; - Being realistic is always expecting the most likely outcome. What do you think ?

  2. As @hook said there is no official way. But someone has managed to write a guide on how to do it I've not used my self though this is for lineage not android but I assume you could just use that image if you wanted.

  3. Oh, I did read that. As I did read all the other announcements since 2019. I guess, for those who have followed FxTec's path for so long, there are only to possible outcomes: you become either a pessimist or a believer. 😉

  4. Not saying that their timeframe will hold, but have a look at this See https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/pro1-x-smartphone-functionality-choice-control#/updates/all I assume they by total mean the processes involved in the first batch. I have no idea of the amount of people/machines set up for this, and thus no idea of the batch size and whether batches are produced in parallel, so it is pure guesswork how long it will take to fulfil the pending orders (and we do not even know how many that is). But I tend to agree with @brunoais on this. It could be possible, if all goes well,

  5. > And then we don't see how many people have had success in their dealings with support, they don't come here to report. It's only the failures we get to see here. Sure, but when we're getting to the point where I'm considering I may never see my device or my money again, and fxtec is plainly just not responding to old or new tickets, it's pretty scary. I just want a "sorry, we're missing some parts, we're on it" so that I know that there's life on the other side. At this point, one needs to start considering that buying a Fxtec device is a bit like buying second hand. You get what

  7. Confirmed on LOS 16.0: With NFC switched-off, no clicking when recording from the 3.5-mm-jack. Thanks for sharing!

  8. To eleminate clicking/popping sound: switch off NFC. I have also experienced that annoying clicking noise, until today when I accidentaly enter into factorytest by tapping build number, and go through all of the tests. And there was an NFC test, but I had no nfc device to connect, so I switched it off. And then the clicking sound dissappeared. I tried again to switch on NFC and the clicking sound came back, and with switching off, it disappeared. 🙂

  10. I'm also on a similar boat. Sent my Pro1 for repairs in early July, got this reply on the 12th of July "Thank you for confirming. We'll pick it up this week and it will be repaired and returned to you most likely by early next week." ... and nothing. It's now almost October. I've sent in several e-mails. And all I get is radio silence. I'm beginning to think I'll never have my phone (or money) back. Help?
