  1. I had ripped the membrane on one of the buttons a bit like that when reassembling, but it was still good enough to work (all bits still attached). The second time I assembled i placed some kapton (mylar) tape over it to protect it from damage on assembly because I was quite concerned about destroying it further, this appears to have worked.

  2. A few months back me phone just went pitch black in my hand. Nothing triggered any reaction. No button and also no charger. So I contacted support for help. It took a while until they answered me. But they offered me help to repair it myself. Not really keen to try any parcel service during brexit with a phone still holding a decent amount of personal data, I gladly took that offer. They hinted me at the battery and the USB-Board. My skills in electronics and manual labor are... well let's say I am a programmer 😉 But the phone is really really easy to disassemble, I was able to do it w

  3. Just curious... have you tried to check if VoLTE is enabled? You should have a switch in Android settings and also service provider can switch it off. For me (when I have tried), enabling VoLTE allows me to initiate a call but phone doesn't ringing althought it rings for the caller. Here the system is a bit old version of LineageOS 18.1

  4. Same problem here, started while upgrading from 17.1. I have two italian SIM installed. If I am on LTE only I can't make calls anymore and I do not receivee any call. If I am on any mode that has LTE in it, the LTE will drop to EDGE or HSDPA if I make calls, and I can't receive calls. If I switch to GSM/WCDMA or other setting without LTE I can receive the calls correctly. I tried some updates of LOS18.1 but the problem persists. The problem is quite strange, since in LTE mod if someone is calling me he will find my number free but the phone won't ring and register the call.

  5. Updated to the 10 November weekly via OTA. All went smoothly and root was maintained, November security patch.

  6. This is a user forum, and the problem seems to be between F(x)tec and US network carriers. While it would indeed be good to read an official statement by F(x)tec on this issue, this is usually not the place they publish such things. Of the users around here, @Hook seems to be most experienced with the Verizon compatibility problem, and their opinion (which you probably have read already) seems clear to me: No, the (original) Pro1 cannot be expected to work with that carrier. For the (future) Pro1X, we do not know yet.

  7. ... of which the latest is: However that goes, I guess it would be sensible to consider that the shipping backlog goes back to 2019 for some of the original Pro1 orders which never were shipped and then were changed into Pro1X orders (this includes my own first order). So even if shipping would start at the end of this month, someone who ordered their device just recently will probably not be served with that first batch.

  10. Hello, have anyone had any success sending their phone back to warranty? I had multiple issues with my phone all up until it just went blank at one point when I was commuting and using Waze. After contacting the support I got the following address: ** Private employee address hidden ** I sent the phone there (from Estonia) and haven't heard anything back. Its been already 5-6 weeks. I tried responding to the original email and writing a new letter, but just getting radio silence. Any help what to do?
