  2. Just wanted to point out that I never use a case and I had a severe ghost touch problem at the end of 2020. I only have a thin textured skin on the back for added grip.

  3. I also have very bad to no GPS accuracy. GPS Status App and Locus both show many found satellites (more than my Redmi Note 10 Pro) but it never gets more than one or two locked, so no positioning via GPS. I'm in contact with fxtec since i got my pro1x and can confirm that they are not sure if it's hardware or software. I tried Beta firmware and there it seems like many more do have the same issues. Seems like everything support related is on hold until they found if it's hardware or fixed it in software.

  4. I have bad GPS precision, sometimes with frequent short drops of altitude values, but no such 'lost signal' cases. I'm using GPS frequently for longer durations (than 30 minutes), whether for car navigation (Google Maps) or hiking (Locus).

  5. I have also experienced "GPS signal lost" from Google Maps navigation. The signal seems to come back a minute or so later. Something is causing intermittent restart of the gps or something. I have not reported direct to fxtec as it seems this is the case on all Pro¹-X. However if I'm wrong, if anyone has Pro¹-X that can maintain GPS connection 30+ minutes, please post.

  6. I also have a case attached to bottom part but I don't have a feeling it lifts anything up generally (also, it could only lift top part altogether, not part of the display module). However, I have a theory (written here earlier) that display part may getting loose on top of upper part and if it starts moving, data lines of ribbon cable will break sooner or later... there is a wide ribbon cable at bottom which is also the place where applying a pressure usually solves ghost touch issues temporarily. The loose display part may also come from alcoholic cleaning of display surface related to

  7. Just in addition to what @EskeRahn and @claude0001 already said—I have similar suspicions, but of course we cannot really know. Back when the first batches of the original Pro1 were about to appear, there also were a handful of retailers who had been promised a number of devices and they got them even before some of the earliest of individual orderers (also causing a bit of anger among some of these...). The chances may be limited, but maybe it's just a coincidence that this retailer is also Fxtec's shipping company? Anyway, and more importantly, as much as I'd like to, there's nothing w

  8. Okay... so I'm on my third screen right now and it's still behaving after a few months. I'm starting to suspect the culprit that damaged the first two screens may have been a phone case I've attached to the keyboard half of the device. When closing the phone with a rubber sleeve or a 3d printed hard shell attached to the bottom part (I had both) the screen might not fully close and allow a bit of flex to the screen half when carrying it in a pocket. I've been running the phone naked since installing the third screen and like already mentioned I don't have any problems so far. Ju
