  2. I have been reading all reports in this thread and issues seems to be mostly related to LTE network. However, there are also reports that some users cannot make calls in GSM network either (or especially receive calls). If LTE is disabled and 3G is available then there are no issues reported. @Rasvahas reported that Pro1-X has issues with LTE band 3 which is 1800Mhz. 1800Mhz is also very common in a GSM network. There are lot of issues reported from US. 1800Mhz is not used there but band 2 1900Mhz and band 4 1700Mhz are very common in US. Also, 1900Mhz GSM is used in North America. W

  3. Looks like you've done exactly what I've been searching for! Once the 'X' eventually gets the updates to make it useable, I'll B ordering from an online printing service - thank you! 🙏

  4. I don't have a Pro1x, and it has been so long since I had stock, I can't say for stock. But, yes, with Lineage OS on the Pro 1, you can do that. Under settings>display>rotation settings, you can actually allow or exclude all or any of 0, 90, 180 or 270 degrees. I don't use autorotate at all, just using the built in ability of the Pro1 to change from landscape to portrait by opening and closing the keyboard. In addition, there's a clever little lock-unlock icon that pops up that can be used in special cases. When I open Kindle, I leave the keyboard out and turn the screen so it is

  5. To others not knowing this particular type of flip-case: The phone is mounted on a plate that can slide 'up' (seen in portrait) to reveal the camera. A quite clever idea, at the cost of a little extra thickness.

  6. I wonder if a s shoe cobbler, someone versed in leather cutting, could do the job. Dying art, though, given our throw-away world.

  7. We are all waiting fixes for possible issues but it does not mean that developing other things has to be stopped. Probably there are different people working with software updates and case design. Or maybe the case was developed with the help of community? Anyway it is not bad thing that there is case model for Pro1-X. Community option:

  8. This is like the AlieExpress merchant who figured out that the Elephone U Pro screen could be used for the F(x) Tec Pro 1 and relabeled the screen (and, then, in this case, jacked up the price-- you can get Elephone U Pro screens much cheaper on Alie Express). 😄 https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256804530146022.html?gatewayAdapt=deu2usa4itemAdapt&_randl_shipto=US

  9. Ah you youngsters. started before there was dos. 1KB memory + plug to a TV and a tape recorder. (ZX81) A few years later I had the first PC with not one but TWO floppy drives so I could have source on one, compile to another, swap the first, and link the object-code back to the first drive. Later that was upgraded with what I saw as an almost infinite big harddisk - it was a whooping 10Mb 🤣👴 👴

  10. I've just uploaded a new case with a cutout for the headphone jack. I would suggest printing in PETG to provide the extra stability. https://www.printables.com/model/267403-fxtec-pro1x-case
