  1. I don't think there's any reason not to discuss other keyboard phones, especially in threads dedicated to them. This is, after all, a keyboard phone community. :)

Mostly because i want to share the owner experience is with this phone I might not be very pleased with FX tec and the way they have gone about their whole pro 1 x campaign but that does not mean im not excited to receive it in the future

  3. I tried to do that here https://eskerahn.dk/?p=4539 Pocket is certainly more pocketable, But many apps struggles with the quadratic form-factor. Better apps supports both portrait and landscape screens, but the quadratic often causes trouble - it is so rare that it might not have been tested at all. Try e.g. the Android market for updating apps. Google splashes some silly gibberish, urging people to waste battery with automatic updates in the major part of the display, that can not be dismissed, leaving practically nothing to the updates...

  4. @Rob. S. You might end up relatively content. A Unihertz ROM maker talked me out of the Slim, to the Pocket instead, based on the kb. Since @EskeRahn owns both, he might weigh in on the kbs vs screen size, but I'm sold on the Pocket, despite a 3.1" screen and an aging Android 11. I've played with the idea of going custom Lineage, but prolly won't actually do it. The Pocket is now my daily and the few phone calls I get, I can't afford to miss, so I'll stick with stock, which has yet to fail me.

  5. I've been using the Unihertz Titan Pocket since last Thursday, and I do believe I'm sold. The 3.1" screen takes getting used to, but Unihertz has thrown in a bunch of customizations, from display resizing to key remapping. It's perhaps too thick and heavy for its size, but I knew that going in, and the kb itself is very manageable. Fast enough CPU for my needs, long battery life, and good support over at Discord, whose members have found prompt response and delivery of replacement parts from Unihertz. Most gratifying is when you pay for the phone, it's actually delivered. I had not been f

  7. Hello everyone, has anyone considered class action lawsuit? This company is complete joke, more than 2 years since order, more than 6 months since cancel of my order, still no money, no information, contact with support is absurd. Im from EU, I know we got the rights. This company/owner should be simply called BIG SCAM, I feel so stupid falling to this bs. Anything related to this company and owners should be a big no-no for everyone around hightech.

  8. Besides the apparent lack of free ROMs, my biggest concern is that the keyboard -- unlike the Pro1(X)'s -- seems to lack many of the special symbols important for shell work or coding. Like "~", "|", ">" "\", or the sqare ("[]") and curly ("{}") brackets. Is there a way to enter these characters using the hw keyboard, e.g. via customisation?

  9. I was interested in the titan pocket, but the lack of alternative OS and my androids allergy is a deal breaker here. However I had a titan in hands and it feels very solid.

  10. The WiFi seems pretty unstable, but when it works it is OK - I must admit I have not used it for anything other than updating the apps (and the OS) since I played with it initially, and yet it seldom gets through 10 app-updates without throwing the WiFi connection at the least once (1m from router and at the least 40m from nearest neighbour net), In aeroplane mode, it uses a mere 2% a day, that is pretty impressive. (due to the unstable WiFi, the Stamina is bad with WiFi ON, but that is to be expected by frequent reconnect attempts, so not a stamina-issue, but a side effect of the WiFI-inst
