Until you have it in youre hands allot can happen However i consider myself lucky to get a tracking number I plan to elevate it to a masterpiece on my wall once it arrives. I wil not use it as a smartphone, but as a poignant reminder that no matter how many blunders I make, they'll never quite measure up to the Pro1-X saga.

everytime I see the phone on my desktop I think "unbelievable, it's here..." I feel lucky as the direct concurrent keyboarded-phone from Planet computer seems to be a complete scam now. (I don't expect a Pro2). That say, I wish you a good ending for the saga.

It is highly advised to take a backup of your device specific partitions right after you receive the device. Update 20220829: tl:dr: Community has not found a safe way to restore backups as of yet. Making below described backups is still highly advised for a future where some wizard found a reliable way to restore those backups. For now, if you have broken sensors from flashing another OS, the restorecon method described in the "Repair sensors/ folder..." section does 100% work to fix those while retaining your attestation keys. I wouldn't worry about those. My Pro1's (got two of them) and my Pro1-X have had these black spots in the corners of the screen since day one. They haven't worsened over time (we're talking years for my initial Pro1)

At this point I'll consider myself lucky to actually get mine.

I saw the email. Very disappointing regarding batteries. If the bundle a person paid for is batteries, then replacing them with earphones doesn't really help. I doubt the storage story as well.

As I wrote a few weeks ago in the Honor Magic V2 thread, I went back to the Titan Slim because the Honor I had finally decided to buy had developed a display problem. Turns out that after using the big screen with an on-screen keyboard for some time, which surely was better than a normal phone, I like the Titan's keyboard more than did before.
