Yeah what 3zet said might be best that way it would be a clean install. I'm trying to remember how I installed the drivers last time but I am pretty sure I just used https://developer.android.com/studio/run/win-usb

Usually things to try are * Use different ports * Reinstall the ADB driver and ensure its googles (microsoft one doesn't work properly) * Use a different cable (I always use my nintendo switch controller cable) But I guess you probably have done this why asking. TBH I've never tried doing it from SD card so can't advise on that 😞
