So... Quick question becuase this thread seems to have gone off on tangents Is this release of Lineage OS 20 stable and useable on the Pro1x? P.S. For what it's worth I've been running my Pro1x on the stock Android OS as my daily driver for more than a week now and it's been absolutely fine. No signal strength issues, no random drop outs, it's perfectly fine. If I were to be picky I would say that I'd like the corner LED to behave the same as the Pro1 used to, but that's it.

Thanks MonCon, I've read that whole thread, I think it's partially useful in that it tells me that the Pro1x will never have the same notification light function that I previously had, unless a version of Lineage gives the option, or that "Light Manager" may work by happenstance. Am gonna move over to Lineage soon with the Pro1x anyway so we'll see how that turns out. Thanks folks.

Ooooh, the double tap thing may be culpable if my phone is set to "double power button tap = camera". I have had the phone open to clean/replace parts, but the problem existed long before that, been living with it for a while now. I have a USB-C port being repaired that I'm going to put in, I'll clean the button when I do that and get back to ya.

Hiya folks, I've just shifted from a Pro1 to Pro1x and noticed that the indicator LED doesn't show when I've got messages. The Pro1 indicator did 3 things: 1) Told me when battery was low. 2) Told me it was charging and approximate amount of charge. 3) When I have messages. This one only seems to tell me the first 2. Is it supposed to be like that?

Fret not about the usb-c port, I have McGyvered a very stable holding rig out of plastic bands and an old camera, it's been in place for days with no signal drop out. So, onto the software bit: First I downloaded the 4 files from the top section of this page: https://download.lineageos.org/devices/pro1/builds# Then I downloaded USB drivers from various places and spent days trying to get my PC to recognise the phone when it's in fastboot mode. Well this is a nightmare... But here's what you did, future me: You manually installed the driver onto the device by browsing for the android_winusb file while in both adb mode (Normal phone on mode), and in fastboot mode (phone has black bootloader screen)... If things go nicely you may not need to do both. When in fastboot mode, check it works by typing fastboot devices. After days of fiddling I've finally managed to get the device listed as a fastboot device in the command prompt. 1) Now, when I try to Booting a custom recovery using fastboot, I get an error: error:

Yeah, I'm fairly certain it's not a software issue as the problem survived a full factory reset. It doesn't do it every time with mine either, just enough to be mildly annoying.

I'm struggling... I can get adb to detect my device, but when I go into bootloader the QX1000 in device manager becomes Android with a yellow exclamation mark. This thread: Seems to detail the same problem as me, but Adrian seems to have an Android device at the top of his list as well as in other devices and I cant seem to recreate whatever he did to fix it. Hiya chief I think the Pro1x comes apart the same way as the Pro1, if so you can simply take the case off and uncouple the header inside the unit. At least, that's what I did with the Pro1. There are video's on how to disassemble the Pro1 out there with minimal google-fu.

Hiya folks I have a little bit of an issue with my Pro1 (Which I soon may be retiring for the Pro1x... we'll see). As the title says, when I hit the power button to activate the phone into life, it often immediately opens the camera. Anyone else seen this issue or know how this may be fixed? I'm soon going to try putting LineageOS 20 on it, so maybe that'll have an effect, but I'm not super confident as I did a full factory reset of the device about 4 months ago to try and fix some other issues (that turned out to be fixable hardware problems). Hiya folks, I've had a Pro1 for around 2 years running stock android and I've been loving the phone itself, though the bloatware is just something I've lived with. I Recently got a Pro1x but not had chance to give it a proper try yet, but when I do, am thinking about trying out Lineage on the Pro1 as a test. I spent about 2-3 hours trawling through these forums last night in the hope of seeing the answers to all my questions, but as a person who has never toyed with the OS of a phone before, a lot of the jargon is lost on me, I therefore have some questions that I'd like definitive answer
