_DW_ 628
Since we all obviously don't follow the norm here for phones though I'd start a thread with some other devices out there which you don't normally see. Rob. S. 1,661
https://maraphones.com Nothing special as a phone goes, but decent enough devices helping the economy of Ruanda as an emerging African country.

For €199 it doesn't seem like a bad phone to have as a backup...
SCΛRECROW 57
https://www.catphones.com/en-au/cat-s60-smartphone/ I had a CAT S60 few years ago, a fairly typical ruggedised phone with mid-range spec, but with a FLIR thermal "Predator vision" camera and hardware navigation bar buttons! It was a colossal brick of a phone. but the thermal camera was very useful for work and around the house....considering getting an addon FLIR camera for my Pro1. Would probably be rocking an S62 Pro if the Pro1 didn't exist.

The camera looks really cool (it's not actually any use to me) but that would require stock android, right?

Yeah, no way to OEM unlock these phones. IIRC there was temp root at one point, but it got patched out pretty quickly. Haven't looked into development for these phones in a long time. Well they are more business oriented phones so to be expected. I was having a look at them the other day tempted to have one just for the thermal camera but I don't really have a use for it though 😅

DieBruine 397
They also make an Atom L/XL (XL has puch to talk) which is a bit larger. I loved the Atom (regular mini) and am trying to get my hands on one again. Rugged, waterproof and very compact. I can only recommend one, ideal phone for when you're out. And even though it's not a phone, the GPD Win 3 is worth mentioning in here (I think):https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/gpd-win3-the-world-s-1st-handheld-aaa-game-console#/ Edited March 3, 2021 by DieBruine
OKSun 103
Is one of you an owner of a galaxy fold2 or a microsoft duo? I would be interested to see it side by side with the pro1. Edited March 7, 2021 by OKSun
Rob. S. 1,661
Not strictly a phone, but the Dragonbox Pyra that is made by our forum member @EvilDragondoes have a SIM slot, too. The German IT news channel golem.de features an interview with him today: https://www.golem.de/news/dragonbox-pyra-macher-im-interview-die-linux-spielekonsole-aus-deutschland-2106-157004.html (Golem's adblocker protection breaks direct Google Translate support, but it should be easily translatable by copy-and-paste to Google Translate or, better.
