  1. Past hour
  2. Well. I'm completely baffled by the phone on my Pro1 not working. My Pro1x works fine, so I don't think it;s a LOS problem. Since I almost never use my Pro 1 as a phone (so I don't actually know when this problem occured), I'm not highly motivated to trouble shoot it. Lol. If anything occurs to me I'll let you know. I will have to get around to trying out a new SIM card. Both my Pro1 and Pro1x are on T-Mobile, although the SIM in the pro1x is Ting. Bands for US T-mobile are 4 (1700/2100 MHz), 5 (850 MHz), 66 (extension of Band 4), 12 (750 MHz) and 71 (600 MHz). I don't think the P

  4. I have a sim in. Have something I'm in the middle of, but will get the bands for you later this morning. It is T-Mobile US. But here is the curious thing... I don't use my Pro1 or Pro1x for calls, but they have sims and have always been capable if I needed to. I've suddenly discovered my Pro1 can't make calls, (my Pro1x does just fine still). I will investigate this further later.
  5. This is a ping-post, as i updated the above post multiple times, and the conclussion this far is The 22.2 bug seems to be related to the presence of a SIM card!!
  6. I'm happy I got mine but seems like when it's EOL I'll have to procure something else. AGH.... As usual... Too unfair.
  7. Yesterday
  8. (BTW it seems so greedy that the reduced current at 98% makes it hard to reach 99%, it has been at "98% - charging" for over half an hour 🙈... display off, checks about every five minute...) UPDATE: Got it charged to 100% and after 3h it is down to 96% and that is OK. So now I will try to reenable the stuff I disabled, and recharge. But still No sim, no WiFi, no apps UPDATE: After 75m it is down to 99% and that is OK. So now I tried to add sim and WiFi, no account, no apps, and recharged. UPDATE: After 4h it is down from 100 to 82% and that is not good, 4½ %/h... I will now remove WiF
  9. Update after one year of usage: Current version (video): I still love it. I had to replace the keyboard one time as the touchpad stopped working (probably my fault since I sealed the touchpad chip on the board with super glue so it could have overheated. Part cost: 25€ The hinge system is still in place since the first day. At one point, I replaced the phone cover (which is fixed on the hinges with super glue). Part cost: 10€ These changes gave me the opportunity to do a better job with the backside of the phone so it looks more professional and to probably make it l
  10. On 22.2 (without factory reset) it went from 100 to 72% in 8h idle over night, so 28% compared to 6% for 8h on 22.1! ..Just did a factory reset, no net, no sim, no account, and disabled all I can (leaving it totally useless - see attached), and will recharge and see how things goes...
  11. Yes there are. And you won't get any refund. I'd be surprised if more than 50% of people received their phone already. But personally, I've given up and accept that I lost 700€ for nothing. Luckily, I've built my own slider phone which I am extremely happy with and where replacement parts cost a fraction of the FxTec parts (if they even exist at all). So the journey was expensive but I learned a lot on the way.
  12. Lineage-22.2-20250512-NIGHTLY-pro1x with May 5th security patch installed smoothly via OTA. MindTheGapps15, and root was maintained.
  13. Last week
  14. ...i have not madded wipe - dirty update from 21 Official to 22.1 Unofficial and then to 22.2 Unofficial. Was only one problem with alarm (google deskclock apk). Was needed to delete apk manually from root and istall new
  15. I only did a factory reset when I started over so I could install MTG and root. I do perform a simulated battery pull after the first reboot into a new OTA update. It's probably superstition and likely doesn't do anything, but it's easy so I do it.
  16. I have upgraded it (without factory reset) to 22.2 20250503, and will recharge and see what happens. If horrible, I will try with yet another factory reset (and no MTG, no and no apps whatsoever, all left default, and skip/disable to all questions)....
  17. Just as a data point, my Pro1 with official LOS 22.2 is having no battery problems still. About to do the May 10th OTA. I will finally be getting everything set up again this afternoon, and will report if anything changes with my, so far, good battery life. This is very puzzling.
  18. ...and i am on battery from approx 8am morning...now i have 56%. LineageOS 22.2 UNOFFICIAL
  19. At 22.1 20250405 with same setup after two hours it has gone from 100% to.... 99% So I still claim that 22.2 is borked... Sorry. ...After 5h: 97%, 8h: 94%
  20. I think many (most?) of those who had ordered an OG (qx1000) Pro1 via the website and were "upgraded" to a qx1050 after the SoC thing happened. At some point all the focus was on IGG backers, and website customers were left in the rain ...
  21. @KaKi87Are there still people that didn't receive the phone?
  22. At 03 I finished recharging after installing the 0503 with MTG, with only very few apps, and restricted all I can, and in just 4h11m it has eaten 31%, so there IS an issue - sorry. I will flash back to 22.1 (dirty, and if needed with a Factory reset, and recreate) I flashed back to 22.1 (0405) with a factory reset and will recreate.
  23. To all website orderers, Suing Fxtec for not delivering nor refunding would cost you as much as you'd get back (if not more), but if we all would do it together, then it would cost each of us only a fraction of what we otherwise lost. Please come forward if you'd like to participate and get our money back. I very much would like to get my money back. What about you ? Thank you.
  24. Lineage-22.2-20250510-nightly-pro1-signed.zip on April 5 (2025) security patch, installed smoothly using OTA.
  25. I HOPE that I sometimes in the following week will have verified that all from the original Pro1 that can be transferred has been, so I can install LineageOS 22.2 on it freshly reset, and I will be sure to install the same 0503 version reported on above, to rule out that anything that had issues has been fixed. (But no promise I will find time for it)
  26. USUALLY the problems people experiences with fastboot is related to the communication with the watch. Either cable, port or driver. Silly as it may sound on Windows11, a 'newer' USB3 port might cause problems. On my Lenovo X1 Yoga gen 6 (20XY), I can not get fastboot to work directly. But if I use an old usb2 hub, things works fine. It also works fine if I go via my thunderbolt 4 docking, and a USB3 port on that. AFAIK, there are fewer issues if the machine is on LINUX. You might also try from an old PC with USB2 ports only. Usually it is not super picky on the cable, but try sw
