  1. I've basically solved the Landscape versus Portrait problems with Nova-- I am these days using my Pro1 about 95% in Landscape. I pull it from my pocket and just pop it open, whatever I want to do. Nice grip, don't have to worry about curved edges and, at this point, with much practice, easy to do. So I design my Home screen landscape and don't much care what happens in portrait. I was using Launchtime, which had all apps sorted into category tabs, but it ended up having a few quirks I didn't like. But I loved the scheme-- essentially it was Palm Launcher from Palm OS days. So I designe

  2. The Puro case arrived. (https://www.puro.it/en/smart-wallet-universal-xxl.html) It's a mixed bag. (sorry for crap photowork tho) Size comparison with the pre-order sleeve: It's a bit bigger but the size is correct, including thickness. The quality is very nice and this eco-leather is amazing to the touch. The magnetic latch is very strong. About the mechanism inside: Thanks to the holes every button is accessible. However you can only position it in two ways. You cannot position it on the power and volume buttons. (red) 1. Together with the pow

  3. I decided to compare the three keyboards I've tried, which none are perfect for my use case. I noted features I use and whether they work with the hardware keyboard for the AOSP Keyboard, Google's Gboard, and Microsoft's Swiftkey. [Note, I am using Lineage, so there are two fixes that make this comparison less applicable to stock - stock hasn't assigned sym key as right-alt and hasn't set keyboard to thumb keyboard.] So I probably woulda just stuck with AOSP keyboard, other than that auto-capitalize that drives me crazy in discord. And this is because both stock and lineage have

  4. Thanks for all the details. Yeah, it does look like it would be a bit hard to get a good result I guess it could be a possibility to make a minor cut for the secondary camera and a hole exposing the flash when slid up. And possibly you could reduce the height of the two 'jaws' to allow a better close, while still keeping a good grip. And anyway a (tiny) hole for the secondary microphone when down should be considered. The position might not be that easy to gett right though, as I guess the natural thing to do for calls would be to slide it up about 1cm to expose the earpiece.

  5. If start typing an address into url bar, and see 5 rows of suggestions, it is awkward to select one. I tried down arrow and then press enter, but it instead searches for the few letters i'd typed (as if I hadn't moved down and highlighted something)... Ideally, enter should open the highlighted selection. The closest I've gotten is tab. It opens the one below what is highlighted (unless you're on the very last one)... Perhaps this is expected behavior for tab, so that while you are typing you can hit tab to automatically open the first suggestion (without moving down the list a

  7. While I fully understand the fears and the scenarios are entirely possible, I don't really understand the timing. Now, after they shipped new devices and after they informed us that they ramped up production entirely, now you are complaining and saying that they get bankrupt. That doesn't really make sense to me. Also, spreading such theories can very well lead to a self-fulfilling prophecy since more cancelled orders further affect the liquidity and profit range. Do refund if you don't trust them anymore, but don't destroy it for others.
