  2. I doubt they have had any replacement screens (or any other parts) since at least October, probably earlier. When everything gets sorted out (having parts delivered to factory, inventory, identifying parts for Pro1x manufacture, and separating out spare parts for parts pledges on IGG and repairs), they will finally get to the repair tickets. Since everything is ordered in bulk and sent to the factory, I don't think there is a way to tend to repairs first as ordering those parts separately and having them shipped to the UK might allow, They don't like giving updates when there is nothin

  3. Hi everybody, I'm posting this just for the sake of statistics. In September 2021 my Pro1 also started to develop these ghost touches and the unresponsive area at the lower part of the screen. FxTec replied to my ticket after approximately 3 weeks and we figured out the issue is covered by warranty. This was great! Unfortunately no displays were available then. Now, in May 2022 I still have not heard from the support team, and my display was still broken. Yesterday I received a replacement screen from Aliexpress and installed it today. I have some problems glueing into the right pos

  4. Yes, it should be covered by warranty. Looking at thew Wayback machine, the 2 year warranty was listed through at least March 4th 2021: https://web.archive.org/web/20210304055614/https://fxtec.com/faq It was only sometime after that, showing up in the archived page for April 11th, that the policy was changed to a 1 year warranty (made, I think, when they changed the Pro1x from a 2 year warranty to a 1 year warranty-- there probably weren't any Pro 1s being shipped by this time. https://web.archive.org/web/20210411034712/https://fxtec.com/faq

  7. You're not alone. There are several people al in the same boat. Mine was shipped in September. At least they bothered to reply to you, a courtesy I am denied the last 6 weeks.

  8. I have no doubt they will honor their agreement that it is a warranty repair (as they did for my Pro1). What will be interesting to see is if any problem turns out to be a problem with the motherboard. I am sure they have no replacement motherboards for the SD835 Pro1. So, does that mean replacing the Pro1 with a Pro1x? My last communication, March 1st, was that they would contact me when they had an update on my repair. As I said above, I'm pretty sure there will be no update until the Pro1x is being produced and shipped because they would order everything all at the same time to

  9. It sounds strange... like there was already a contact problem somewhere... That case I would not really think a short-circuit caused during disassembly... That would be good, maybe you will notice something.

  10. Complete radio silence since my last email. They've had my device for more than six months now. I would actually completely agree, if they had not set the expectation themselves in our communication that I was eligible for warranty service.

  11. I'm waiting for a screen since october/november. It's the same part for the X. Not even a response to my last re-re-reminder email.
