i should be getting one of these first batches since im stil waiting on my pro 1
however after checking my contribution for indigogo for the pro 1 x i noticed something strange
my contribution id is 2105 and is the pre early bird 256gb , i paid 679 + 40 usd for shipping
however if i look back in my email i payed and was part of another perk
the pre early bird 256gb for 599 +40 usd for shipping and contribution id was 418
also i checked my bank account and that also says i payed 618 euro's (euro vs dollar was better then i gues )
ima just keep waiting because idk what to believ
So this happened to my back key, when I lifted the keyboard out I noticed that the back key area had a crack or break that lead to going dead. I did not actually check with FXtec if it would be covered under the warranty, so i think it might be good to see if the white pad under the keys shows any wear and tear. But that only happened with the back key for me, no other keys were impacted.
Indeed and remember that some have preordered not perked for a Pro1X, and we have no knowledge on how these two lines are interwoven, but I guess they all come after the Pro1 orders, if things goes by chronology....
Thanks for the reminder, I had already forgotten what I chose! (Turns out it was option 2, with QWERTY instead of the originally ordered QWERTZ layout...)
contribution IDs do not directly match to the number of sold phones. There are also battery packs, support perks etc.
I myself generated two contribution IDs without ordering a phone.
Oh of course - no diodes and mods need to work with any key without ghosting.
First thing to check would be that the ribbon cable is seated correctly - the end pin it could have disconnected before the others only breaking Ctrl. If there's a big ribbon going from the keyboard to the main PCB reconnect it, if not the problem is within the keyboard. Pics would be good.
Right, usually keyboard builds up as a matrix and also Pro1's keyboard was built this way.
However, there are a few keys which have its dedicated IO for allowing truly independent keypresses and these keys basically are the function keys...
...so yes, although Pro1's keyboard has a keyboard matrix, ctrl keys wired together and go to a dedicated IO.
