  1. Agree with this, I tryied this possibility but even with heavy load or quite no load it works with same behaviour. It could be relative long time without issue, and sometimes it's quite useless. AFAIK a hard reboot don't really affect this. strange...

  2. Thanks a lot! (Just in case someone might wonder, and the method described in https://gist.github.com/bengalih/ee939232fcde3c22516134e10cabbf11 is not precise there, either, it probably isn't enough to disable Digital Wellbeing features, you actually need to disable the app, going through Settings, Apps and notifications, See all apps, Digital wellbeing, Uninstall, Disable. At least I hope I got that right...).

  3. So, I sent a message to Nova support, and this is their answer: The Digital Wellbeing app can't be uninstalled, but it can be disabled.

  4. I have used min four three years now, and a few keys are becoming 'unstable', that is 0, 1 or 2 characters when pressed. As the device is going to be retired as a test/backup device, it is not a huge issue for me, hopping to get my Pro1X soon. If we can get it as a spare part it should not be that hard to swap, with the help of some heat. Try taking contact with support.

  5. Problem is, until now, the battery cannot be found anywhere but at Fxtec. Might actually be a unique design for them. On the other hand, I'd at least expect Fxtec to be able to ship batteries some time soon.

  6. It might be interesting to see if that non-charging state of the Pro1X is displayed as 'not charging' instead of 'discharging' in AccA (which would need a rooted device with ACC/AccA installed, which I haven't done yet as I seem to get along quite well with unrooted stock), too, as it used to be with the Pro1. As of now, I haven't experienced charging issues on the Pro1X myself.

  7. @raymo That's good to know. I had many keyboard issues with double inputs in the past and ghost writing (i.e. thi1es instead of this) in the past. Since pressing hard also means writing slowly, it could be an software issue too. I'll try to uninstall some apps and free up some ram, maybe it does help. If not, the system will get reinstalled in a few weeks anyways, I'll tell you if it helped.

  8. PS it then make sense that I do NOT see the issue, as I (as one of the first items) disabled "digital wellbeing"

  9. If you do not think disable is enough you actually can uninstall it - though for the user only, with adb. Look in this and search for "uninstall", e.g. ADB shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.apps.wellbeing For apps you are NOT allowed to disable from the phone, and if you feel uninstall is a bit drastic you can also disable through ADB: ADB shell pm disable-user com.google.android.apps.wellbeing ADB shell am force-stop com.google.android.apps.wellbeing ADB shell pm clear com.google.android.apps.wellbeing Note the silly detail that an app is NOT stopped b

  10. Same problem here, but I wonder me if it's 100% hardware ? When it happens (trying aaa eee bbb aaa eee bbb sequence with normal press) dmesg says (when missing a letter) : "aw9523b_irq_handler: enter" two or three times and doesn't go with "key press", which is related (if I understand correctly) to i2c GPIO expander But yes when I press very hard it doesn't happen, either when I write slooooowly, wich could be the same here... Not sure at this point but really annoying

  11. The first utility apps I install on any Android device I own are FX and Termux. Together they turn a smartphone or tablet into a full-featured pocket computer. The former is in my opinion the best file manager Android has, while the latter gives me a fully-featured Linux terminal complete with the apt package manager. From there I can install ssh and I've got a connection to my desktop PC from anywhere with an internet connection for file transfer and media streaming.

  12. With the current stock firmware, that is correct. You can not.
