  1. Unbelievable, this actually worked! And I did a system upgrade (LOS 18->19) as well, and that worked on top! This was my first time a dirty flash worked – with device encryption. This is what I flashed from the stock rom: fastboot flash boot_a boot.img fastboot flash boot_b boot.img fastboot flash dtbo_a dtbo.img fastboot flash dtbo_b dtbo.img fastboot flash system_a system.img fastboot flash system_b system.img fastboot flash vendor_a vendor.img fastboot flash vendor_b vendor.img fastboot flash vbmeta_a vbmeta.img fastboot flash vbmeta_b vbmeta.img rem fastboot flash userdata

  2. I just used fastboot_all.bat included in the 2020-08-25 7z file. The line `fastboot flash userdata.img` didn't work for me anyway, but to be sure you can comment out or remove that line.

  3. My new Pro2X had a problem on that it doesn't always charge at night. Over the past four nights it failed to charge on two of them until i rebooted (and the second time in didn't spot until the morning when it has died). I used the supplied charger and other ones, tested with other phones which charged. Any advice?

  4. Not highly precise measurement but a usual key of Pro1(X) is around 5x8mm as per my measurement. Top row is about 4mm in height. ...but I suggest you to try a similar keyboard in real life instead, as keys are much smaller than your thumb but still you can feel them accurately. Also, Nokia N900 had similar keys (a bit smaller size) which was still a good keyboard. So it is not easy to decide if it is too small prior of trying. Also, a bigger problem may be the phone (thus, keyboard) width [landscape] which may lead to some inconvenience if you have small hands (smaller than

  5. On my first days with the Pro1X I suddenly had a massive problem with GPX, too. (I suspect that was before GPS had properly initialised itself; perhaps no Assisted GPS data was loaded yet, but that's me stabbing around in the dark.) I'm using an app named Locus for hiking. When I switched it to satellites view, there were some two dozens of satellites in view but all showed up red even though I was outside and a lot should have been in sight. It took some time, but in the end the phone started to find the satellites. Until then, it had been using mobile/WiFi data to approximate the location wh

  8. @dualinfinityThanks a lot for the guide! I am trying it out right now. Just for clarification, when you say "Flash the 2020-08-25 stock ROM", what exactly do you mean that should be flashed? All images? The full process here: Maybe exclude userdata and persist? What about system and boot?

  9. The indicator light is on but it just doesn't charge sometimes. A couple tries fixes it. (but yeah it's possible I got some gunk in there as well)

  10. @zaptastici used that second one you linked. But since the method is called Key Attestation, i guess all of those tester apps should do quite the same. You can observe using those, that key attestation is a feature that does not depend on Safetynet/Play Api integrity. But the other way around. Using this Play API integrity checker, you can observe that unlocking the bootloader breaks "Device integrity". Rooting the device breaks "Basic integrity" and missing keys break "Strong integrity". But the pure Key Attestation checker apps you linked above, are happy as soon as they see keys. Not

  11. Despite calibrating in Google maps my GPS signal is terrible. Location is 77 minutes or off date despite being in a field with good phone signal. I keep getting "GPS signal lost". When using Android Auto. It is now placing me a few miles away on the wrong side of the Thames! High accuracy is enabled in settings. Any other tips or is this combined with poor phone signal a sign I have a dud phone?
