  3. What type of error do you get when you tried flashing the stock OS on QFIL? Best to check if your PC is able to recognise your Pro1-X under EDL mode. Go to device manager on your computer and boot your phone into EDL mode, see if there's either an exclamation mark or e.g. COM10 port available. Either way, feel free to email all the info you've got so far to our support desk [email protected] and let me know the ticket number. I'll take a look.

  6. It was so for me, though it had a number of air-jumps HK-UK-Leipzig-Copenhagen-Billund. and then 150Km in a Lorry. But the 'express' parcel took 12 hours just to leave HK.

  7. I can only speak for US where FedEx handles it all the way to our door. If there wasn't a mix-up with customs, I would have had the Pro1x for my friend on the third day from getting the tracking number. I did get my Pro 1 in two days also. And my friend who already received his from FxTec, much the same as I recall. I said "once FedEx picks up" because of things like Expansys picking and shipping requires people and the people only work M-F until 6pmm HK time, so if you order on a Friday and it is close to or after 6 on Friday, nothing will happen until Monday. Well, though the shipping prices for the US are tolerable, they are a bit extreme for "the rest of the world", I paid HK$450, some paid $550, and well yes the did send it "express" when they finally got around to send it. It took a few hours over a week, and it was NOT due to them awaiting replies from me more than half an hour or so. I ordered it Friday morning (CET), and they handed it to FedEx Tuesday evening, And I had it Friday afternoon. AND as it is unlikely FxTec has ordered it "express", I would say two WEEKS is more realistic than two DAYS....

  10. Expansys has been their shipping partner since 2019. The problem isn't shipping-- when Batch 1 and 2 ship, people will get their phones quickly (2 day air once FedEx picks up, same as Expansys orders). The problem is something about their contract with Expansys which has to be resolved. Expansys themselves have no such obstacle.

  11. At the least it means that my nasty and rather paranoid theories can be put to rest.... The only bad thing here seems to be that the contract FxTec made with Expansys did not have a clause saying that Expansys could not put theirs up for sale, before they had packed and shipped those intended for Pre-orders and Backers. That Expansys might have lost faith in the product and is selling them cheaper than even the Super Early Bird devices, obviously just add to the frustration. And there clearly is a risk of some regretting orders, and thus draining capital from FxTec. Let us hope the Expan

  13. I wrote to Mr. Diego Scotti, Verizon Exec VP and Chief Marketing Officer via snail mail. Someone might actually read it that way. Basically said they need to support their loyal customers. They should white list the PRO1X. They should find the tech guys in Verizon who already know how to interface the PRO1 with Verizon, and send a tech support note out to all their marketing stores. Fingers crossed. [BTW I told him how long we have been w Verizon and the total amount we have spent with them over that time. HINT over 20 yrs, over tens of thousands of $.]

  14. Bumb! I have also used QWERTZ unit which has some issues with the usb port (no fast charging every time). However, I have the spare part usb module for it. I was planning to fix it myself and continue to use but I might start to use "new" QWERTY unit also depending which one will be sold. So you can make an offer for "new" QWERTY or used QWERTZ. Both are Pro1 models. Edit: I fixed the USB port of used QWERTZ unit. I changed the whole usb board. No issues anymore. Edit2: QWERTY sold

  15. I am afraid my efforts to flash the ROM have failed again with the same issues as yesterday. Have included some images incase anyone can offer any advice. I've checked the document and followed it I believe to the letter several times but not getting anywhere!

  16. I will do that. Just to confirm phone is fine in EDL mode and can be seen on the PC as per the instruction pack. I thought I'd share these photos from the extraction of the file. Had this every time I have run it. Starts fine and as per the screenshot in the instruction pack. Not sure if it is normal. But wondered if this was why my flashing attempt was unsuccessful

  17. As I said, I had this on an 835-Pro1. Mostly, when using the phone on the move. The problem with bad VoLTE calls is definitely not specific to the Pro1-X. It is generally not just a problem on the side of the phone, but also caused by shitty LTE coverage and bad handling on the side of the network operator. E.g., when in the midst of a VoLTE call you roam to a cell with no or poor LTE connectivity, the call should seamlessly transition to GSM - however for me this never (or rarely) worked: the call just stalled (German O2, cannot recommend ...).   18. Thank you. I have factory reset several times to no avail. I tried to install the stock OEM yesterday but it didn't work. What I will do now I am aware of this excellent support network is show the error message I am getting on QFIL.

  19. @Feld: As your phone seems to be set to German UI language, I will assume you are located in Germany or Austria. If so, you should try to disable VoLTE (sometimes called "Enhanced 4G LTE Mode" in the settings), which will force phone call audio to use the traditional GSM protocols rather than VoIP. For me this was a day/night difference with the Pro1(noX) regarding call availability and connection stability. You will lose native video calling in the process, but I think it is well worth it - and most people prefer using seperate apps for video conferencing anyway. Unlike in some other co

  22. Take a look at the last couple of pages of the Production and Delivery thread. We don't know as even the latest update doesn't address it. We do know, from Discord 1)They know about it 2)They have explicitly said the will honor the warranty on the Expansys devices. The silence may have to do with the close hold discussions of the shipping contract, but I don't buy the conspiracy theory that Expansys HK is stealing our phones during the negotiations. You made your points, there are people here who invested in this project knowing that, you are doing a disservice to the intent of the project and to those that have supported this from the start, many of us have the Pro1 or supported it since then and see this is a project worth backing. You approach amounts to not achieving anything if whomever you are advocating for put money in through IGG then they need to read what that actually means.
