  2. Split the above from the 19.1 thread Link for rom: https://download.lineageos.org/pro1 Just attempted a dirty flash from Lin 19.1 MTG12 to 20.0 MTG 13 arm64 (Android security update 2022-12-05) It boots nicely after a while, so seems to work with all preserved ๐Ÿ˜„ AND the long lasting keyboard&Accessibility bug (both 18.1 and 19.1) has been fixed, so Greenify and Android Assistant both works again - awesome

  3. ๐ŸŽ„ Christmas Update ๐ŸŽ„: A new build of LineageOS 16.0 (for SD835-Pro1) is available at https://findus.zwergenschaenke.net/~puma/linux.html#lineagepro1. Go for the ROM dated "20221222". This build enables kernel support for PlayStation DualShock gamepads, inexplicably missing from the standard defconfig. ๐Ÿ˜‰ There are no other changes since last week. As usual, my collection of mods relative to upstream is available. Why this is important: Turns out my son enjoys SuperTuxKart as much as I do, and he actually got his own DualShock3 for St. Nicholas Day. So we thought we could use th

  4. Thank you Rob, turns out all I had to do was disable HD audio!

  5. My phone looks like your screenshot when no device is connected. When I connect my JVC HA-S30BT headphones or the Logitech BT Adapter attached to my living room stereo, "SBC" is selectable, too, and it is selected by default. I haven't seen any other options yet, but I'm not sure whether those two devices support them. (I think I do have an aptX capable Bluetooth adapter somewhere, but I would need to start an expedition in my house to find out where it is ๐Ÿ˜‰) So far, I was able to connect all of my Bluetooth devices, including headphones, in-ear headsets (mono) and car stereo.

  6. I just received this belt case from Aliexpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33002799045.html I ordered size 5.1 - 5.5 inch. Pro1x in silicon case (for Huawei P20 pro) fits very well in it. Finally I feel like my phone is well protected against accidental damage ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

  7. If you want a community to work on something you need to give them the hardware. The few who did get their IGG perk delivered were not the most enthusiastic "Early Bird" orderers or those with the "Secret Community Perk" available through XDA they were seemingly chosen at random so that can't have helped. Then (if you believe the updates) anyone who was working on it was told to stop until they had a stable stock image, which as of today's update they're still "working on". Sounds like they've had three months and got nowhere - it must be really broken!

  8. OK ... this does not seem to go well. According to the past updates, almost all units should have been sitting at "their" warehouse (really Expansys', I understand) already for four (4) months. Given that Expansys are obviously able to ship their own Pro1-X's without any problems, I think F(x)tec should stop blaming "logistical issues" in "China and Hong Kong" for everything ... they must have at least some part in this mess and I think people would appreciate if they admitted that. However, the most disappointing part about the last few updates is how alternative OS development is i

  9. I just read that someone was complaining about the fact that although F-rec ensured us there weren't going to any additional shipping costs due to Brexit, they're going to charge VAT anyway. That would mean I'll have to pay 20% extra for a phone I already paid good money for almost 2 years ago. Can they do this legally?? I'd much rather have my money back.

  10. Interesting indeed. I have something that maybe related to share, I wasn't sure what to think of it before... For a while I'm now using magnetic USB C connector and cable and since then I did not have any charging issue on both my Pro1 and my Pro1X. By the number of contacts, I expect only USB 2.0 signaling is supported (just like the included charger). I am not sure what is really different except that connection is generally instant rather than relatively slow to reach all contacts.

  11. Connecting any OTG device fixes the charging problem.

  12. I assume for most who haven't gotten their device yet the money is lost. Irretrievable. The same applies to those who bought the device through the indiegogo campaign. Fxtec is no longer able to even begin to implement its own announcements. At the moment it seems to me that we are being lied to. Too many promises have been made for more than two years now and then broken.

  13. Bad news! This ALSO seems to hit stock Android 11 on the Pro1X ๐Ÿ˜ญ ADD: Though it seems that unplugging and re-plugging here several times can suddenly bring it back to normal, so not as bad as what we see on Lineage. and AICP.
