So apparently I didn't make the big 70% even though I paid on August 2nd for US order and people that paid after me in the US have gotten stock assignment. Guess I'll add that to the growing list of things I was told that turned out to not be true from this company.v They have told us for months now it was in order of payment date right? Seriously considering cancelling for the first time since pre-ordering.

Yes but they changed the site AFTER I ordered. I also ordered on the early bird price. It would be different if the site was already changed the day I ordered but it wasn't. Very unprofessional. Edit:. If they wanted to put a date on it they should have picked the date they changed the site and grandfathered orders taken already in there.

Except when it comes to the earbuds. I ordered my phone when the site still said ALL pre-orders come with case and earbuds and then they took it down and decided to not honor that and put a date on the earbuds that was a week earlier than I ordered. Still salty about that and still waiting for the phone anyway even though the goal post keeps moving. I do want the phone but it's little things that make this experience less than pleasant.

I understand that and believe me, I'm not being negative just realistic. If the last website update was in fact November, and they expected pre-orders to be done by Christmas and be ready for general sales at that time then it was an unrealistic expectation to think that new orders not covered under the preorder price would be delivered in 4-6 weeks. Most people on the forum knew that and there were multiple suggestions by others to change the site so no new buyers felt mislead like they apparently do now. Easy there white Knight. I'm not attacking King FX. Just saying that they knew it wasn't ready for generak delivery in 4-6 and chose not to change that even after many many posts suggesting they do so at the time.

Nope both times it was clear that general delivery was not going to be in 4-6 weeks because it was still that long if not more for pre-orders.

Well he's not entirely wrong either. They've changed the site a few times already and had opportunity to remove that and be more forthright about shipping on the main page.

Well I'm also biased to kb phones in general and have also been waiting for years for a chance at another 5 row horizontal slider. I pre-ordered this and had a custom case made months ago. I just hope that this is a hit and if there is another one that some of the common constructive feedback is not ignored. I was probably not that constructive with the way I said "didn't seem like a good design". I do think a slider should be intuitive with the way it opens though. I guess if I ever get my phone, I will know for myself what I can only asertain from common denominators of reviews.

What I'm saying is that in all my years of using sliders, I never had to get used to anything...just slid it. And no offense but a lot of your comments seem to be very biased and defensive of Fx tec and don't akways align with the majority of reviewers such as how most of them, and some owners who have recieved theirs, find the thumb travel a little far to the center of the kb while you have no trouble at all with average size hands.

The multiple reviewers/owners saying how hard it is to open, have to train yourself to open and afraid they will fling it across the room or drop it on the street doesn't really give me confidence that it's a good design to me.

I owned the BlackBerry Priv and the keys were flat, the keyboard was indeed cramped and still had to use the on-screen keyboard to find symbols that should be but weren't on the physical kb. Just saying....

I agree with you. Refunding sales tax that we are still ultimately responsible for whether FX refunds it to us or not to make us feel better or something about now having to pay even more to get the phones delivered does anything but make me feel better about the process. No I didn't make the buying decision based on the ear buds and case. I already wanted the phone. However, I made the 'pre-order' decision based on the freebies that come with pre-ordering otherwise I could have just waited and kept my money until general release.

I get it that you don't want them and that's fine. The point is it was advertised that ALL pre-orders would receive them and I opted to pre-order based on that info rather than wait for general availability.

Personally, I pre-ordered on July 12 back when it was advertised on the site that ALL pre-orders would receive the ear buds and case only to have Erik say months later that only pre-orders by June 24 would receive the ear buds. Though I'm still patiently waiting cause I want the phone, I feel the backpedaling on the ear buds was a very unprofessional move and honestly, they should be including them with all pre-orders as promised and even more so now with all the problems and delays.

Is there any official update on second batch. Last update in the official thread has people from 2nd batch receiving phones by end of November. Did anyone from 2nd batch even receive stock allocation yet let alone delivery? My positive attitude is starting to shift and the Star Wars edition Note 10+ is starting to look good to me lol. Is Erik going to wait until last day of November to give us new word it will "ship by end of week" again? What's going on? Communication?
