Hmmm guess I missed it by a couple of weeks. Don't remember it being advertized like that or would have ordered earlier. Well considering there still is no pic of the final version of the case and I had a custom leather pouch made anyway, I guess it's no big thing. Edit: Although I do agree with the other poster that all pre-orders should have them at this point as a courtesy at the least.

But did you really have an order to cancel? Only asking cause you joined a week ago and have 2 posts, neither one thrilled about the potential buy or experience. If you just ordered recently, it's not like there's been a long wait so far either. But yeah, if higher specs is what you want most from a phone and have that already, that's totally understandable. What phone do you have out of curiosity? Would have to be pretty new already I'm guessing?

Not sure about any miracles of people in general returning but there is still a pretty decent fan base of qwerty slider lovers. The real miriacle would be seeing one built that could match flagship specs at time of release. This is the closest we've been to that in a long time though and will def buy an upgraded Pro2 if this one gives them enough success for them to want to do that. Part of me thinks one of the reasons for the slider downfall is when they started making them with midrange specs only and many had to chose between great specs or kb and that's when they started jumping ship.

Just got that email as well and am personally glad that the main concern is getting a quality phone out of the door.

I heard that Adrian took the most dramatic and elaborate complaints directly to Chinese Customs and the customs agents were so troubled by the world ending anguish this has caused some of you that they actually lent him a prototype jet, fastest ever created, and he will be personally delivering phones tonight to those few that have suffered so much from this tragedy. Please leave milk and cookies out for him.

I often wonder how much sooner we would have gotten the Pro1 if they weren't busy catering to all the special requests for changes to the final units by forum members to which they definitely accomated some of those.

Congrats on being first you lucky Asia based customers! There better be some unboxing vids because I already watched all the other videos like a hundred times now. Don't forget to show us what the case looks like too.

Well I'm gonna make a bold statement and assume that the phones weren't built at Chinese customs, hence they had to be shipped there to begin with in order for them to be currently held there. So as promised, they are currently being shipped. If Erik didn't update us on this out of their hands minor delay, people would be complaining that there is no communication. Looks to me like they are doing everything they can to get these orders out and keeping us in the loop...period

Yeah sorry not sorry that I find humor in all the impatience and elaborate conspiracy theories posted after Erik just updated us this morning that everything was still on schedule. To me it's just a phone. If I feel like it's too long to wait, I could cancel instead of complaining but at the end of the day, it's probably been 10 years since I've seen a decent slider unless I count my Priv which I kinda don't so even if I'm not in the first batch, I'm cool with that. There has been nothing in this process so far that says scam or anything like that in my opinion.

In other threads, there are photos of our shipments boxed up and ready to go which is awesome and very exciting stuff. However, nobody has the time to take a pic of the final version of the phone case presumably shipping with our phones?

When you're logged in, it shows the price with tax and shipping and the price without when not logged in.

I guess I just feel it was a sloppy last minute "fix" to appease people in the forum that want to service their phones whereas I would have been happy with a quality phone that would last the normal 2 years+ until upgrade. I always take care of my phones and never needed to service one before. Anyway, if that's splitting hairs then I guess that makes me a nit picker but the uneven kb backlighting is something I've personally never had to deal with on a kb phone before and I really hope they don't ship like that.

I read EskeRahn's review of the almost final product. Can't say I'm thrilled about stickers covering screw holes on the KB that will likely come off after a couple of months of use nor does that seem premium to me. Uneven KB backlighting seems auper annoying as well and really hope they don't ship like that.

Yeah, I remember and that early image of the case was awful so hopefully, they revamped it since then. Hopefully, we'll see something soon. I bought a custom slip case just in case. I used one back in the G1 days and it was nice to have protection but still get to use the phone in its naked beauty so maybe that will work for me here too.

That said, there still isn't even a photo of eithwr the ear buds or the case so I'm not holding my breath.

Wasn't it stated previously in the questions and anawers for the NYC event that the headphones wouldn't be readly and would not likely ship with the pre-orders anyway? Lol
