    The reality is we have all been in circles. Yep we all had to pay and wait longer than expected and I have to admit it vexed me when, even a small number of devices, were sent out to be sold. As a business they need to do this or they will break a relationship with sellers of the Pro1 and future handsets (we are all hoping for). @PanicBrothers I think you raised some fair points and transparency is very important and I am happy that you got the phone and are giving an honest look into how you enjoy using it.

    I get other users want to also say how they don't mind the wait etc, however, one thing I find confusing is how this is becoming  a belittling and name calling game. It just seems that a frustration stated at the company comes with a possibility of being called basically 'a lesser developed human' Seems to be a way over the top comment on a personal level to people.

    We all currently know we have a possibility to receive our phones by end of Jan if it looks like it is not going to happen personally myself I will simply claim a refund and either purchase the phone when available or get an alternative handset. (Do not confuse me as I really want the handset but its not the end of the world to me now as i can find alternatives for my needs should I need to).

    In closing... It's Christmas so pop a beer enjoy the festive period and then make a new year decision. The phones are out of out control in regards to delivery and production. 

    I hope I haven't annoyed the powers that be... My phone might be the last delivered! 🙂

    As always mr @Erik thank you for the update! I will keep my fingers crossed for my assigned email when batch 3 makes it way out! Also will keep an eye open for the PR email. Thank you! 🙂 

    As I am UK based I am happy to pop into the warehouse and collect my handset to make it easier! Lol (Serious though)

    I was not trying to suggest that he was a liar as such.

    I agree with you and unfortunately as he is the member of the FxTec team that responds and updates (is on the front line with customers) he is the reference when it comes to the messages of its coming this month, nope next month etc.

    When I say Erik it is in reference to the rest of the FxTec team passing on genuine information for him to share. I can only imagine that in regards to giving customer updates on the forum he will need to get correct information from relevant teams. Personally I now feel a bit more like the covering and half truths and 'tell them what they wanna hear' part is coming to an end. Why I spoke of the company taking it as an L and making it a W. 🙂

    I am not trying to suggest that he is a bull face liar. 🙂

    I think we have all been feeling this for a while. And I know its easy for me to say as I am feeling like there is a good chance of me getting a phone in January. But just remmeber that Erik is now responding with information more regular and is being honest. WE need to hold on for that last push and all being well and good there will be a great rteaction to the phone and more to follow,.

    I am not gonna lie the delivery and manufacturing and time frames have been disastrous to be honest but I believe the company is starting to learn more from this and are so gonna take it into their continual work. I do not do you tube videos but in all fairness the concentration for all of us who get the phone now should be about:

    • Is it any good
    • Did it meet expectations
    • What improvements for Pro 2
    • Would I recommend the phone others?

    I am sorry about your wait but just remember it will be with us super soon! 🙂

    I know, I know.. But somehow I though his order was somewhere around mine and that is not true - since I had some troubles with mine.

    I guess the main thing is that now we are getting updates and honest time slots and no more silence! Exactly what we have asked for and now we are all able to get Giddy at the thought of our New Phones for Early 2020! 🙂 Whoop! 🙂

    103** I was not a backer/IGG I am based in the UK and paid 2 weeks after the request. My Initial Reservation (I think)was placed in March I hope that helps @Swond I hope that helps you a little. In reality I will not get a stock assigned message probably till the end of next week and will no doubt be week 2 of January when I get my bad boy.

    Do not fear though I will keep you all updated and probably spam all the forums lol.

    The whole thing looks a little odd after the forum upgrade, but forgot to straighten in out.... Will see if I can pull myself together and reformat it.

    Well I am due to be placed in Next weeks shipment and will let you know how all is when I get my phone and which apps I find helpful/good. It will probably be crossword games and Excel spreadsheets! Lol!

    So i have been informed that I should be in the next shipment for the UK.

    I am looking forward to getting a Stock Assigned and realistically receiving my phone probably in the new year! But hay, its on its way! 🙂

    Sooooo.... I did something shameful....

    I trolled the twitter account and made a seething complaint under an image... I caved and became a petulant 13 year old! (On the bonus I received a reply where they said they will look into my order.)

     @Erik has come back to us in the forums again and again and is, so obviously, doing all he can. And like everyone else I can not deny I want this phone on a materialistic level (I will not die without it although on occasions I feel it).

    However, now there are phones being shipped on a regular basis I feel positive. Yes they are not in large numbers I also remind myself that this is F(x)tec the new company not Samsung/Apple/Huwaie etc who are major players and have a monopoly on factories and delivery services. All units are usually shipped to a store for those guys but ours are going to be to our doors and this makes a large difference in delivery companies performing logistics. example being that across Europe there are set standards in regards to carbon emissions, London for instance is applying loads of pressures on to delivery companies to literally fill the van until it pops and do minimal stops (Amazon now park a van in your neighbourhood an the driver gets to walk in a miles radius delivering by hand and not van).

    I am feeling positive and in all fairness I only want the split screen so I can do my word scramble game and simultaneously get the answers from google when I am stuck! 😉

    Basically... Dear F(x)Tec social media team..... I AM SORRY! XxX

    Notice regarding getting Google SafetyNet Certified software

    - Back up your data, as your personal data will be wiped after re-locking bootloader

    - (Second Warning) Back up your data as they will be lost

    - Turn off the phone, hold vol down and press power key to get into bootloader

    - If you haven't got ADB installed, you can fetch it from Google here

    - Using command line on the PC, go to the ADB and Flashboot directory and type 

    
fastboot flashing lock

    - Follow the instructions on the phone (Press Volume down twice, and accept with Power)

    Bootloader will be locked and your data will be wiped, it will become factory state

    After set-up, device will shown as "certified" in Play Store and user can set up Google Pay using contactless payment.

    For future units the default setting of bootloader will be locked and device will show certified by default. Only the users who got the device now will need to do the re-lock to activate SafetyNet.

    @Waxberry Forgive me when I say the following as this is deep tech to me and way out of my Microsoft knowledge and prowess! 🙂

    Basically... When my phone is delivered I will need to complete the above steps? Also as I do not have a stock assigned/tracking number does this mean that by the time my phone is sent I will not need to worry about this? 

    So many questions and I am sorry if all you smart techies in this group are rolling your eyes. LOL.

    I was consumed by the steps... Ignore me... although @silversolver you seem very anti Google.... why is this? What am I missing? Going to Sailfish and Linear is good for which reasons? I genuinely ask as i have just seen how sarcastic it seems! Lol
