I just got my Pro1 today (after a really long period of waiting) :-) I am struggling to root it now

My Pro1 has never reached me 😞 I called FedEx and they informed me that it was returned to Hongkong from Warsaw without even reaching my city.

According to FedEx, mine is stuck somewhere in Warsaw. It took 4 days to get from China to Warsaw and for another 4 days it has been lying there 🙁 The original delivery date was 27.01.2020 It seems that the final kilometers are the most difficult

On the optimistic side, I got my 'stock assigned' email yesterday. Let us hope that my Pro1 arrives within 2 weeks

I intend to root my Pro1 as soon as I get it. I have a question about support of updates on rooted device - I mean rooted stock ROM, not a custom one. On Moto Z, for example, it is rather tricky and involves unrooting, flashing old stock ROM, updating to new one and then rooting again. Userdata is deleted in the process. I would very much like to be able to update rooted stock Pro1 without loosing userdata

Being a distrustful Pole myself, you have made me thinking a little bit ;-)

The same problem for me. Unfortunately no easy way to buy a >€500 prepaid card in my country neither :-( I would really like an alternative payment method
