  1. Hey guys. Just wanted share the case I printed out for my wife. She wanted a functional opening case that would protect her phone and won't fly off when it opens. After many attempts I was able to get it to work. I'm probably going to modify it some more and tweak my print settings to make it a lot nicer and possible do some post print finishing.

  2. Hey all, it's been a while since I've been here so I wanted to pop in and give an update. I live in Seattle, which has been under stay-at-home orders for over two weeks and will continue until at least the end of this month. I have a wife and 4 boys at home, and we are all healthy. But it is difficult to get any work done between the constant interruptions. In addition, I have been given a new project at work that will take a week or two to complete. So I'm afraid that I won't have much of any time to work on the Pro1 until at least the middle of April, but more likely the star

  3. Since nobody has tried to answer, I'll do my best. I don't know if it has stabilized, but seems to be working well, so unless anyone complains, I dont think they'll change it. No, you cannot use FinQWERTY layouts intended for stock with Lineage. Some keys are mapped in hardware different than stock, i.e. physical: stock/lineage/sailfishos F (fxtec logo): Home / Meta / Super Sym: Unused / Right-Alt / Slash Slantarrows: something / weird nothing / right-alt Ctrl: Right Control / Left Control / forgot to check Esc: BACK / Esc / Esc So to use a finqw

  4. Based on some models and ideas presented in this thread, I made a new leather flip case for this phone. Each side is reinforced with thin plate of fiberglass. The phone is tied to the cover with 2 pieces of rubber. There is 4 small magnets to keep the cover properly closed.

  5. Firefox. I use the extension "User-Agent Switcher and Manager" to see the desktop versions of websites by default. These tend to work great on the Pro1! It's a much nicer experience than the "mobile web".

  6. @tdm Thank you for whatever you can do whenever you can do it. Right now, the number one priority is taking care of yourself and your family. Bless you for all you have already done! Cheers!

  7. I use Firefox on the Pro 1. I do like it, but I mostly use it because it syncs with my desktop and two laptops (Windows and Linux) that all use Firefox, my preferred computer browser.

  8. Yes it should but some development is needed. I guess you would notably need to check if you are in a phone call to avoid locking the phone while calling for instance. It's usually straight forward and more reliable that the proximity sensor.

  13. I ordered a Cosmo in December and still have not received it as of 2 April. Had I seen the Pro 1 first I probably would have ordered it. I have asked for a refund on my Cosmo but haven't heard back from them yet. How do you like your Cosmo. You are the first person who i know of who has one. I do have two Gemini's. One Wifi and one that does take a sim card. I find that with the sim card its a bit awkward to use. Unless I am using it wrong, you have to open the case to anything which isn't that handy. I had most of the Nokia communicators and liked them at the time. Also still have a

  14. Many small goods deliveries for consumers are being delayed here in Germany now, by the way. Amazon Germany gives estimates of one or two weeks now for non-essential stuff which is in stock and would normally take just one day – even things like their own Fire Tablets. (I try to avoid Amazon myself as good as I can, but one of my tablets needed replacing – and then I ordered a Fire 8 HD Tablet because it was unbeatably cheap and a quick research showed there actually is a Lineage OS ROM for it...)

  15. Well, we got an email today, just not about how the manufacturing is progressing. Here's a hot tip for the advertisement department: sending emails about how great it is to have a pro1 to distract you while stuck at home to people who are still waiting for theirs (some, me included, having placed their order more than a year ago now) is likely to annoy more than anything.
