People here have ordered replacement screens for about $50 on aliexpress.

Lineage, like a lot of custom ROMs out there, builds on a schedule regardless of whether there are any actual changes. There are exactly zero actual code changes between 20200824 and 20200831. All of the changes in that week are administrative (adding supported devices, updating the wiki, etc.) So that means: - You do not need to update, there is nothing actually updated. Feel free to dismiss the OTA notification. - The update should not cause any issues if it is applied correctly and successfully.

Welp, I bit the bullet, and now have a replacement device. So far it's working on Verizon. I'll probably go for one of the wallet cases until a made-to-order case is available. In the interim, I had gotten a Kyocera Duroforce Pro 2, which isn't much of a performer, but is nearly literally indestructible. I'll swap the sim card back and forth depending on the needs of the day.

You can also order a replacement screen assembly directly from support, but it's more expensive. It is a simple process to replace, though.

I update the system with OTA and zero problems.

Some of you (like me) might be used to the external SD card appearing as separate drive on their laptop when connecting the phone. There is also the option to use it as adoptable internal memory. I don't know if goodman is coming back, but I'm in for a case, I'd gladly cover the materials and time put into it.

Even protected in a p20 pro flip case , it lasted 2 weeks before shattering the whole display on the first drop.... We really do need a proper case that wouldn't take 2 months to get to our door and that is made for our device

Thank you all!! Clearing storage and cache helped. Now the settings appear again. I can remember that it was there at the beginning when I started up my Pro 4 the first time. Eske: as you can see, now the settings appear eventhough the Czech language was still in place. Translation of this settings page is also limited, but still it (at least) shows up 🙂 Thank you guys! Now lets see, whether the spurious press will be over or not. I can say it is ok for now.
