Alright I got the stock keyboard driver transplanted into the Lineage kernel and it builds. Now I just need to take care of the key mappings and make the FN key work like it does in Lineage. Hopefully I can get that done tomorrow.

Switch the keyboard to type FULL. Get an adb root shell and run: mkdir -p /data/system/devices/keychars cp /vendor/usr/keychars/Builtin_Keyboard.kcm /data/system/devices/keychars/Vendor_181d_Product_5018.kcm sed -i 's/type ALPHA/type FULL/' /data/system/devices/keychars/Vendor_181d_Product_5018.kcm You can also edit the keymap to your liking. @3zet recently did this.

So after almost three weeks, I can say that there is definitely an improvement. I have not had any random reboots at all, even at my work site (which was a known problem area)

There is a flashall script included in the zip. Just be warned that, as is, the flashall will boot you without wiping user data. You don't want that to happen, so make sure you wipe userdata before firing off the flashall. The link for the zip is at the top of the post.

Maybe Pro1 does not get a good GPS signal in your car for some reason. Do you get a fix when you leave it outside with a clear view of the sky? Was AGPS enabled?

Run getevent. It won't run in a shell, it requires adb. But it does not need root.

You do have to flash with fastboot to go back to stock from another OS.

Just published release v1.0.4 adding new shortcuts for tab cycling as Ctrl+Tab annoyingly goes back to the top of the page.

Thank you for the fast answers. Yes, does not fix it. No, i disabled that in the settings. Aaaah good to know. I was able to trigger the orientation with a whiteboard magnet just for testing. But with another magnet I can't trigger it reliably. Additional info: I am still not sure if is related to gravity or software/orientation detection. Maybe the magnet is loose an "sinking down" which weakens the magnetic field. Because in a fixed portrait orientation it does not flip. Usually it flips after sometime when laying flat. And sometimes it flips portrait to landsc

Make sure the battery saver is not on. It prevents GPS to get any signal even if location services and data are on. I found this after a few months of very poor GPS performance (long periods until getting position, if at all), my battery saver was mostly on.

I'm betting they will have to refresh the hardware before they get there.

so how did they wipe my phone? do you think they were smart enough to re-flash it? or did they enter the passcode with too many wrong attempts and it erased all my data? i got my phone back, it still had lineage on it, doesn't look like they reflashed it to stock android from google with gapps... paid them a 100$ for it... with my screen cracked in the lower right side.

Over half an hour, stand still, in my car and no fix. I've never had a problem like this with other phones, not to mention even Nokia E66 :)))

For me it was the complete opposite. My phone was working well with my fibre router and WiFi from a second Android phone used as a hotspot. Some days ago I got mobile broadband installed and therefore I got a new router. The new router is just another common Zyxel device. And it made my phone reboot so fast, it was difficult to disable WiFi quickly enough to prevent further reboots. Well, well ... I finally made the transition to LineageOS. F(x)tec really blew it with their craptacular flavour of Android 😡

Pretty sure there is not. And even if there was, I'm guessing it's probably wiped by now.

sooooo...... is there a way to locate my phone on lineage without gapps or google account ? my lovely pro1 got stolen last night...
