@tdm Here my result for the test using boot-stock-kbd-2.img (QWERTZ layout) - First Fn + Space make the screen on/off, and works perfect (it wasn't the case, sometime it has worked, and sometimes not) - No more ghosts keys !!! Enjoy ! I notice this : -Only few touch making choice menu appears when long press (a, e, c...but not x or q for example) Was it the case ? I don't remember, don't care, but I find this good. -[ , . - ] make [ ; : _ ] with Fn or Shift (I don't remember if it was the case but it's also really good) - I have activate and test F1 F2 F3....

In theory, F(x)tec has repaired fingerprint-related problems in latest update. @tdm told the fingerprint sensor has a closed-source driver (blob) and the root cause is the sensor and Android can get out of sync and under LineageOS, you can delete related part of persistent storage to get it work well. Under stock, it is not as easy as access of the system is restricted. Sorry if I didn't remember well. @DieBruine @raymo and everyone else with keyboard issues... here is an updated boot image. This has all Lineage keyboard code except for the aw9523 key handler. I also fixed the FN key handling. The QWERTZ setting (and everything else) should work now. If this still works properly for you, I will start modifying the aw9523 key handler code to see where the Lineage driver is broken. Hello guys. My problem is exactly as described in topic. When I try to register fingerprints, a screen with location of fingerprint sensor is displayed. When I touch the sensor, phone vibrates, so the sensor's working, at least it senses touch. But on next screen (asking to touch the sensor until I feel vibration) nothing happens. Pressing power button off and on doesn't help. After reboot, when I try to register fingerprints again - it's exactly the same. I tried different versions of original Android, tried also LOS - no difference. I'd like to mention, that the unit I have now is

I have IZAT enabled and have agreed to the location consent. I've had the GPS fail to lock it different vehicles and when walking (holding the phone, with a clear sky), so it doesn't seem related to interference from the vehicle. If GPS is working well for most people, and only one other person is experiencing the issue, it seems like it's likely to be a hardware issue of some kind. Maybe the GPS receiver sometimes fails to power up properly?

Update: After I threatened to contact the editors of the outlets Fxtec advertises with on their website, they transferred the money within one day. This could be a coincidence of course. It's been almost four months since my cancellation, but I'm glad to have gotten the money back at all.

I used the included two sided tape from the kit. It's been holding just fine. I don't have any real tips for applying it beyond "be careful".

I still did not use the new display too much, but I feel I have a working Pro1 again. 🙂 I mostly notice the working of touch panel is smooth again, so I was not able to enter my unlock pattern while I saw the lines but now it is possible. My touch keyboard often used to be stuttering but now it is fluent as it was before. The display is shiny. Color temperature was greatly improved also with original display using stock display and latest firmware and I don't have a possibility of a side-by-side comparison but it seems to be relatively good also in lower brightness.
