I'm sorry I have been so MIA around here. The main contributor to that is I love my phone and I have a case that has been going strong since I got it. I hope they are finishing all of their preorders soon and keep working on Pro1 software, bringing Android 10, etc. ...but if they want to continue to do business (so long-term business), they have to think what they can do in the meantime. If there is some potential of selling other Pro1s and do a more polished software, then it is a good point for collaboration. ...and yes, they have to start thinking on Pro2 sooner or later which does not mean forgetting of Pro1 and also it is very unlikely to appear in the near future (unless they have started working on it since a while). My hope is that our headphones are under that blanket, and the the ubuntu touch and lineage logos probably are hints at new versions, probably getting ubu touch for Pro¹ and Lineage 17. That would be the best announcement for October 27th. It's technically people you have shared or communicated with before. But it could be people you talk to a lot without ever sending them images. I imagine the most common app that uses this feature is Facebook Messenger. There's no way to control or remove people from this view, so it gets very annoying. The easiest way to get around it is to remove the app that uses this feature. In the case of Facebook Messenger, you can switch to Facebook Messenger Lite which doesn't seem to use this feature. Deleting cache fixed it. However, due to the grainy image quality, I switched to the google camera app port. The night view thing is upside-down as previously mentioned, but the image quality of photos seems much cleaner. Only annoyance now is that the shutter button is mapped to Snapdragon Camera app directly and there's no way to customize this that I can find. It would be nice to be able to assign this to other apps.

I don't think it is about producing Pro1 devices. About a potential keyboard-less phone - it would go against their function is key slogan.

Just a shy question: why would it need an Indiegogo campaign then? It should be something more complicated I think. Anyway, an "improved" keyboard - if there is only one layout - would be a non-sfifted QWERTY variant for me. For proper international use, that is a must. Currently the QWERTZ variant has the international ability but not everyone are German.

Linux (bypassing android) has direct controls to manage changing speed and whether to charge at all. The caveat is that, on android phones, that API requires root permissions as such. So whichever program goes to change those options must be running as root. However, no user can have a program running as root AND at the same time, the phone passing the google's attestation for the apps that use it. We already have enough information about McD app & co to know what that means. The only savior for that is if the phone maker (in this case, Fxtec) makes such programs and include them
