Just flashed the newest a few hours ago. Coming from LOS 16 test builds. AICP is awesome! And no problems so far. Magisk-stuff works also, although I didn't manage to set up my job email account in Outlook with the Company Portal addon; somehow it manages to find out the root. But not a problem, as I already had decided to drop the Outlook app and use webmail instead. But anyway, thank you @tdm for your effort! Sent you a small donation 😊

Excuse my reheating an old thread, but Just in case someone might have wondered what happened with my "PrinCube" ("the world's smallest mobile multi-color printer"), ordered and payed on Indiegogo a month after I ordered the Pro1 I'm still waiting for: in October 2019. A few days ago I actually received the item! Missing the "permanent ink" cartridge that was part of my order (there are hints it may come separately), and the thing itself doesn't work, either. I hope so too. And I can say that it is quite easy to swap.

I understand it, they may not have the new layout available at the time of shipment. However, otherwise I would not call them prototype as it is a proven hardware with only a minor modification on the case itself. So they are not prototype, except the keyboard is not unshifted which may be a problem for the user but not a problem hardware-wise.

Hey everyone! Just got my pro1-X and I am loving everything except android 9. 🙂 the form factor is a delight. I found the finger print reader weird until I realized that with more fingers i could unlock it in both landscape and portait. I definitely regret no tasking for lineage os, and might need to flash it later, unless android 10 is on its way. I think the full screen gestures + no menu bar for the phone would just work better. Happy to answer any questions for people on the fence.

Also, there is still hope that the different kinds of keyboards will be available to buy as parts at some point.

Yeah its obviously the first proto type batch of the design before they got the new keyboard layouts.

That is only a special "pre-Christmas" edition of 10 pieces. I really hope they will deliver all remaining Pro1 before shipping of Pro1-X which expected to be delivered this March. Edit: also it seems they still have the shifted QWERTY layout as every Pro1 and not the unshifted one which basically Pro1-X should have.

I got the qwerty keyboard. the devices whould all be on their way, i am sure!

Last time I got a new screen from fxtec and replaced it myself. Sent a mail to support again and asked if they could send another one (and if they have checked with their supplier about fixing the root cause).

I did the most recent kick starter but purchased the 128gb pre-christmas device.

I'm running LoS 18 with just a few minor hick-ups (check the topic). If you are planning on flashng, I woud suggest going straight to 18. And enjoy your Pro1 👍🏾!

A brief update... I've been working on a backup/restore solution for Linux (plus an Android app to drive it) that will be able to do full backup/restore, similar to TWRP. On Dec 1, 2020, I agreed to an offer to change my Sept 2019 order from QWERTZ (there still seems to be a supply bottleneck) to QWERTY to speed things up. On Dec 11 I got a confirmation about preparations for shipping from Hong Kong being made, with the promise of tracking details "within the next 3 working days". Never felt this close to getting my Pro1 before! Of course, after following this forum for so long, I took the figure with the obligatory grain of salt. It's been nearly a month now, though, and no more news yet...
