  1. that's the isssue, there are no bushings. Maybe should start fabricating some, will be much more simple compared to making new screws. couldn't agree more, and as a micro mechanics engineer and watchmaker it really bothers me

  2. Looks like the suspicion I wrote about earlier was correct. Since I disabled "4G calling" (HD voice aka wideband audio) in "Network and Internet" -> "Mobile Network", I didn't get any calls anymore with too loud in-call audio. I'm quite confident about this now as one specific caller which always used to be too loud when calling from his home line wasn't too loud anymore after I made that change. So far I don't see any disadvantages of that change, either. [Edit:] This is LineageOS 17.1. Sorry I didn't mention this earlier...

  3. Bitwarden should work with Fulguris once the following changes are merged and released: https://github.com/bitwarden/mobile/pull/1333 I can't tell you how long that will take as I'm not familiar with the bitwarden project. I've tested those changes and it seems to work nicely.

  4. Also, last week their exchange email servers were hit. On IGG they posted: So may have been a double whammy.

  5. Well, me too, and that is exactly how I use my Pro1. Not with Ubuntu, though. My point is that, for a phone to work as a miniature "laptop", all the functionality must be there in principle without carrying external devices along. For that is what a laptop is: a standalone all-in-one machine that has all required peripherals built-in. That you can extend functionality by plugging even more stuff into the device is a bonus, not a requirement. This does however not seem to be what the OP have in mind: they seem to refer to the so-called "convergence" mode of operation, where the phone

  7. Same here with OTA. (On a side note, I sometimes see your sideload success report before my phone would report availability of an OTA update; in that case the update will always appear immediately after a manual re-check, though.)

  9. The only thing I'll add to the discussion of the USB port is that it is possible that heat from high speed charging could cause a problem with how the usb port makes connections to the separate PCB it is on. It could cause enough heat to soften the solder. The port sits on top of 24 *tiny* connections. They aren't the type that connect out the back of the port. I'm not saying this is definitely true, but just a possibility. It does get very hot when charging at full speed. Oh, and if the usb port does break, and you can't get one from fxtec, in theory, a new port can be soldered onto

  10. I've sent a couple of e-mails through the support form on the website and by directly e-mailing ionfo@fxtec.com, but I haven't heard back after several weeks. Is there any other way to contact Fxtec for hardware support on my phone? Thanks.
