  1. NEW Version of guide here Below the original text: (above inserted by EskeRahn) If you're reading this, it seems like you miss the good old Android OS or you've accidentally fried your PrawnX already! Don't worry! We have your back. The link below is the full build of the Pro1X stock Android OS (v2.1.2): https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1_sgQ64ef9Di9kJ63Y6WNqllGRgRFOjac?usp=sharing We are still compiling/drafting a complete user manual for flashing your Pro1X, but hope this helps you out for now.

  2. Got my shipping information this morning (email from FedEx, nothing from F(x)tec). Ordered July 2021 on the website (which still says "processing"), QWERTY, 8/256, headed to Finland, due for delivery on Tuesday. Order in the 59000 range. Edit: Now received email from F(x)tec indicating my order is "complete".

  5. T-Mobile works fine, as does Ting Mobile, for the Pro1. I suspect it would be the same for the Pro1x, but will have to wait until I can test (probably in batch 2). However, since T-Mobile works fine in my Pinephone as well, I'm pretty confident. 😉

  6. (I adjusted the ROM-page, added link to this. Thanks! ) If you could pack it in a zip loadable by the Recovery Mode (like we have for Lineage and Aicp for the Pro1), it would be awesome. The numerous single operations we got for the Pro1 stock is a bit tedious.

  7. You can email fxtec.([email protected]) I'm pretty sure they have some. You can also buy a Tech bundle which includes that plus a spare battery on the IGG site (https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/pro1-x-smartphone-functionality-choice-control/x/17980121#/). The screen assembly is the same for both the Pro1 and Pro1x. They hopefully intend to make them available as spare parts in their web shop, but haven't yet.

  8. I'd love a complete replacement. There's a few scratches in the screen... Where can I get such a wonderful thing?

  9. In addition to In the end, for me only replacing the screen helped (in my case, Fxtec's replacement unit which actually is the complete upper half of the phone)...

See also other threads, e.g. these https://community.fxtec.com/topic/3513-time-to-take-action-us-carrier-whitelisting-verizon-and-att/ https://community.fxtec.com/topic/3404-att-wireless-us-is-expelling-devices-including-the-pro-1-from-its-network/ (Unfortunately the forum search does not work for something as short as "ATT" or "AT&T", making it harder to find relevant stuff, but "carrier" and "mule" give some related)

  11. Thank you everyone for your assistance. I am happy to be joining what appears to be a very friendly and supportive community. With the exception of this issue I am extremely happy with the Pro1-X. It is fast, the keyboard is really nice, the hinge is really high quality, and the overall build quality is very impressive. Yes, it is a little heavy but I actually prefer that as I tend to drop lighter objects. Now back to the point: I am using the Pro1-X. I have specifically tried near the camera, the logo, everywhere in-between. I have tried the Yubikey all over the phone. Absolutely no re

  12. Because the next generation like repeating themselves endlessly in one long stream rather than having an organised, searchable, record on a forum. It's called progress 😖

  13. OK so this has been going on since yesterday but my touchscreen is going haywire. Ghost touches galore, making the phone almost unusable. Anyone else had this problem? Sporting an original Pro1...
