  1. FWIW, I tried connecting my Pro1X to a USB C - HDMI adapter hub, where HDMI always output works with my Galaxy S21 5G as long as put an external power source to the USB hub. The first thing that happens on the S21 when I do this, is that a new symbol appears on the bottom navigation bar, referring to display controls relevant to HDMI. Interestingly, a somewhat similar thing happens to the Pro1X when I first plug it in to the HDMI adapter hub. The "auto rotate" symbol briefly flashes at the bottom right of the nav bar (to the right of the square), but then immediately disappears. If

  2. Okay looks like it was my fault, I used 1.1.1.1 as a vpn which seems to have caused the problem. I disabled it this morning, and haven't had any wifi problems since, apart from it didn't reconnect when I came home. But that is not such of a big problem for me, I guess. I also briefly tested mobile data connection today, didn't encounter problems while normal texting via signal and telegram. Telephone call was okay, the other side said it was no good connection, but I didn't got kicked out, and was able to have a normal conversation. But this was at home, could have been over wifi.

  3. And I have been continuing to do OTA updates weekly, all successful, nothing breaks, but what the heck is that long delay as the updater prepares for first boot. It is literally hours now. Lol. Luckily I'm working on my laptop Monday mornings. 😄

  4. https://nerdschalk.com/change-screen-resolution-adb-android/ Will test.... Thanks for the idea. ADD The resolution change works - but that is not enough to get HDMI working. adb shell wm size 1080x1920

  5. Is there any shell command to switch the video resolution of an Android device like xrandr does on Linux desktop PCs?

  6. Sad story indeed.... I know the feeling of getting into the 'red field', and not wanting to waste any more time/or money to get things right, from dealing with other companies. I'm awaiting a Pro1X, so not in the market for buying one. But hope yours will find a new owner soon.

  7. I have this problem on Optus in Australia. Cell network just disappears quite frequently. On Telstra I am unable to make or receive calls. I like the hardware but I do need it to work. I've swapped back to a cheap motorola edge 20 fusion and have no problems with either carrier. I have reached out to fxtec support and i'm using the 2.1.5 beta rom, neither of which has helped.

  8. I have an additional issue, where quite often I sit directly beside the router ~1,5 meters away, and I am not able to connect to it, although the signal indicator is showing full strength. And sometime, I am connected with a wifi, and it shows strong signal and saying 'connected' but any app tells me, there is no network connection, and I should try again. when I restart the phone, connection is mostly mots of the time fine, for some time. Any ideas about that? Haven't yet tried a lot of mobile connection, so am not yet able to say anything about that. So I highly hope, this is a soo

  9. I think that's unfortunately pretty unlikely. If I remember correctly, the chipset doesn't support HDMI out, the vendor however claimed it was working and showed a demo with some special cable that uses a casting app [so it requires a special dongle, an app and only works for some apps (not Netflix, etc)]. Which I personally would call fraud from the vendor (not FXtech).
