As I understand it, that preferred network type setting would lock out LTE. So you're not ever using LTE with that setting. I am still on the original build 2.1.2, and the LTE connection is appallingly bad, but it seems fine on GSM. The big problem is that in the USA, GSM is almost entirely deactivated and LTE is all there is, now. IIRC there are some mixed reviews here about whether the beta 2.1.5 build improves anything for LTE on the Pro 1x, so I haven't bothered to update yet. Hopefully Fx Tec is still working on an OTA update that fixes the LTE problem for everyone.

Shipped to NZ in about a fortnight. No complaints at all from me, seems very solidly built and runs very well, new daily driver from day one.

There are no guarantees on the dates. They have stated that they expect to have it shipped in December. Though we do not know if more than the already ordered were produced, so new orders put up today might not be sent in December - but this is not knowledge just a guess,

I just found info about this wonderful phone, found pre order with December delivery and wanted to buy it However after I found this thread as well and I see that here we have strange delivery issues Does it mean that if I pre order the pro1x now I won't get it during December. Instead no one acutally knows when I will get it. Please confirm if I understood correctly

I wouldn't put too much importance into the PrawnX frame rate, on the screenshot above you were on for a podium position. 😆🏁

While I believe this problem is real, it has almost certainly nothing to do with the Pro1X's CPU or GPU performance.

And https://browser.geekbench.com/search?utf8=✓&q=fxtec provides several tests from PRO1s (aka qx1000 internally), so roughly 1/4 slower, but there are huge variation in the numbers, so hard to say anything really fair. Search for qx10150 give other Pro1X tests in august, and they match your numbers rather close.

Geekbench 5 results on my Pro 1x are here: https://browser.geekbench.com/v5/cpu/18809529 The biggest downgrade is the unusable microphone while making LTE voice calls (but to be fair I never had a Pro 1 to compare that problem with).

All I can say up to now is that the raw GPU performance of the Pro1-X is indeed much lower than the Pro1's. In Super Tux Kart (love that game!) the X reaches somewhat less than half the frame rate, given identical graphics settings (top: Pro1, bottom: Pro1-X): While this is unfortunately quite noticeable in a fast-paced game like that, it of course does not matter much in normal phone use. In many cases the Pro1-X actually feels faster than the Pro1, e.g. when launching apps, as if the disk-IO was faster. However, that may also be related to Android 11 (on the Pro1-X) being bet
