OK, I tried TLDR: Waste of time, AICP-S is BROKEN for Pro1!!! I gave AICP a final chance by infesting a windows-pc with Phewton (it was already infested with GIT) and extracted the boot.img from the zip. Following this guide https://wiki.lineageos.org/extracting_blobs_from_zips#extracting-proprietary-blobs-from-payload-based-otas (adjusted as needed...) Infested a PC with Python, https://www.python.org/ Downloads Download for Windows, Python 3.11.2 Found pip.exe and installed packages needed C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python311\Scripts

I am starting to reach that pessimistic conclusion, too, but I surmise that the glitch with the microphone not working until speakerphone is toggled, is a software problem amenable to an update. They seem like two distinct problems. If they could even fix just that microphone unreliability aspect of it, then I might have the patience to pull it out of the drawer and try it as a GSM or VoWiFi phone where that's feasible.

I've been recently looking into this myself given the deterioration of the battery (currently approx. 73% health 😬) and having checked the FCC filings (can be found at https://fccid.io/2AUCLQX1000/Internal-Photos/internal-Photos-4458173) you can see that the battery dimensions are roughly 110mm x 36mm. The connector also has labeling on it (FH-F88003B-FPC) although not sure if this is a specification or unique to the cable that's used in the filing. In addition I've contacted Cellonic (https://www.cellonic.eu/) as a long shot, to see if they either already stock a battery of the same

Yes, I did, that went comparatively quick for a change. (Unfortunately, in the process of successfully replacing the USB part, I broke a few other things which arent's as easily replaceable...)

Except having to install something else that can execute .go instead of .py ...... 🤣

😄 ... as I already hinted above, you could have avoided python and git -- and thus most of those tedious steps -- by using one of the standalone extractor tools I linked to above: I just tested payload-dumper-go. It works well and has no dependencies whatsoever.
