For the few remaining fans of Pie, I have just uploaded a new build of my unofficial LineageOS 16.0 for Pro1 (SDS835). At http://findus.zwergenschaenke.net/~puma/linux.html#lineagepro1 go for the ROM dated "20240515". After many months of near-inactivity on my side, this build again introduces significant improvements (or so I think). As usual, it gives you security patches backported from the ASB up to May 2024. Beyond that, I finally upgraded the bundled version of WebView -- which had not been updated in 2 years -- to Chromium 124.0.636.82 (the version used by recent LOS 21).

I have been trying to get the ChatGPT app to work on my rooted Pro1X. For a while now, it would show as unavailable in the Play Store (presumably because it is rooted, as per online sources). Today, I saw that it was finally available. However, after installing it, when I try to log in, I get an error "Something went wrong". It also mentions checking the date and time, etc. When trying to get this working, I somehow reset something (I was resetting Google play store and play services and various other settings that others online have done in order to get the app to work). This was eons ago, for the original Pro1 when ordering through the site. (so it wasn't backer based on another site like Indiegogo)

Hello, I would just like to briefly give you the current status. I sent an email to fx support ('[email protected]' and '[email protected]') on April 26, 2024. I immediately received an automatic response that my request had been received. To date I have not received any further response. I don't think there's anything else to come. I'm afraid my time with an fx device is now coming to an end... Thanks to everyone here for your support over the last few years. Stefan
