    That Pixel mod seems to be really good except for the Night Sight -- This is the only bit of 'jank'. I'm not sure how to configure the Gcam ports though as I haven't had time to look into how you change the config (this port doesn't seem to have the settings mentioned in FlyingAntero's post). But that aside, the picture quality is miles better than the Stock Camera. It's worth installing just for that. The selfie portraits come out pretty well as well.

    I agree with this somewhat and I can see the idea behind it, however imagine if the fingerprint sensor were the same distance from the power button but above it instead of below it (and the volume buttons moved, obviously). It would sit perfectly in landscape to use with the left index (presumably you're using both hands if you have the keyboard out) and this wouldn't be an issue. I love this phone, but I'm genuinely curious to hear from Fxtec what the justification was as surely they noticed this. I don't agree with every design decision but I can usually see where they're coming from.

    I'm just imagining how loud it would be if it was missing! But even with them there, it's still a pretty loud clack imo. Edit: This is in many ways my smallest concern with the phone. Just an observation πŸ™‚

    Got my click clack yesterday πŸ₯³ The original delivery date was next Tuesday though. Maybe that was expecting customs delays. The screen size isn't too bad, however I reckon the thickness and weight will be noticeable, But Iagree they've done an amazng job making it feel as nice as possible.

    Please do! I'd be keen to print one out, or mess around with it. Cheers to @Keyahnig for the same. If I'm not mistaken, a lot of the cheap mass-produced flip cases are just a hard case glued onto a cover. Therefore with these STLs it hopefully shouldn't be too difficult to get a flip case that's good enough. And we can work from there πŸ˜„

    This was from the latest I got from FXTec Support: This, however, shouldn't let you down as you still have an early pre-order which is expected to ship with our initial few batches - you are going to be amongst the first to receive their device, weeks in advance before general availability. I suppose I should now feel let down.

    Well, he said that the the batch is leaving the factory, not that it had left already. He also said that he would expect 3-ers to get stock assignment letters early this week. I'm not saying that it didn't leave the factory, only that we don't have confirmation of that. They still have IGG orders to catch up on, so don't get your hopes up unless you're one of them.

    It's getting better. We hear that every year but no really, it's getting better. The building has really ramped up to the point that I'm excited for when I go back to see the changes.

    Mate you don't have to tell me, I was born and bred in Christchurch! As a city, it's not as good as the others but you're only a couple hours drive from some amazing scenery. But if you lived there presumably you know how common it is for kiwis to move up to the UK tenporarily. Easy visa process, easy travel to Europe, proper city life.

    That was not good, but tbh I hope it teaches a lesson to the ABs. Their playing was shocking. The real heartbreak was the cricket. I'm very happy England got their first win in a long time, but the Black Caps have gotten so close so many times and that was the worst way it could have gone. 😭

    Yes you did, as before we were having a jolly time talking about the weather! 🀣 So back to that, I moved to the UK in March early this year (from NZ) and so it's my first winter in ages! Somewhat refreshing, but my god I'm not used to this anymore. Also it's my first time experiencing these 4pm sunsets -- It's super weird.

    Which really speaks more about their communication (ie. lack of proactive communication following delays and issues) more than anything and this has been criticised to death already (including my own constructive criticism). The whole situation really isn't that bad if you take a step back, but because we've had numerous small let downs and confusions instead of just a couple of major ones it feels worse. It's still happening πŸ™‚ Sidenote: Apparently we all work in software. 🀣

    I think the thing is that being such a small company, this isn't likely to change majorly until after they're successfully over this project. They've made changes sure, but it's not going to be until everyone's back in the same place and they have a couple hours to spare to really go over every aspect of the project (as communication isn't the only hurdle they've hit!).
