My order is with F(x), & they are over-promising, & under communicating UR very good spouting experience & hind-sight which is also unhelpful for most of us ordinary folks 😒🙁

They could even throw up their hands, say the factory they've started with has proved incapable of scaling up production and they need 'x' weeks, or months even, to relocate & re-start some place else; & most everyone, I suspect, would be sympathetic? instead, all we get is one excuse after another, delay after

Sad to say, but I am rapidly approaching this point myself. I paid within an hour or so Aug. 2nd, and all I've seen since is excuses: availability of parts; factory holidays; speed of production; slow transportation; US customs; now failure of parts during production. The 'Boy who cried Wolf' springs to mind... Depending on when you think of production as starting (no-one outside of F(x) actually knows...) we are some three months or more in & from what we can tell they still have not even finished all IGG orders. It starts to look like very poor management of the whole project, which

Been meaning to do this for a while... Really only one good HW keyboard phone I've had (1st pic)... And I used it to take the 2nd pic. - the set-up I'm using now 😉 Prior to my N97 (not mini), it was an N82; & before that the N3250 (my 1st 'smart' phone, WiFi, etc). Once the browser got too limited on the N97 (😪) I've been stuck with 'slabs'. But at least the BT KB (2nd pic) makes my Lumia 950 much easier to use...

😉 In that I think you are likely in the majority on here! But I think you are probably in good company with many at F(x) too, so I think we all have to make allowances for odd phraseology, language construction, spelling, etc...!

You may be right about three batches ... but I'm not so sure about knowing? My reading of "reproduced this batch from scratch." is that these units were a production batch; found in QA checks PRIOR to shipping. They might have shipped as part of: "Another batch of devices has left the factory on Wednesday "; they might still be in China? We don't know... All we do KNOW is a "batch ... left the factory on Wednesday "; no way to be sure: how many; where they are; who they're for; how long transport will take; when any more might follow... All this is, as it always has been, a guessing ga

So now we know three things: 1. a 2nd shipment is en route to the HK warehouse; 2. it does not contain all pre-orders; 3. due to further production problems, F(x) don't yet know when they will be able fulfill all pre-orders: "...how quickly they can get the remaining pre-order devices assembled and ready..." I think its fair to understand from this that some pre-order customers at least (only F(x) knows how many, I for one will neither speculate nor ask) will not see their Pro1's until January earliest - coz if they haven't let China by now its gotta be unlikely they'l

A balanced, well thought out response, v.much appreciated. I read through the 'black-dog' (?) link that was also posted. While I was truly naive as to what could be hiding in Android system files, I have always been suspicious of a business model that relies on third party advertising to subsidise income instead of valuing its products openly. It's one reason I only use LinkedIn, Twitter & FB in a browser; not as an installed app!!

this is, in essence, a user-to-user forum, hence your 'jumble of info'. Unfortunately, we are all in the same boat of basically unofficial guestimates 🙁 best option is to email [email protected] with your order number - &, yes, they still haven't shipped any pre-orders yet.

I just did not explain myself very well, I guess - sorry - just sheer frustration - I ask a simple question, just for a percentage, three times, & always ignored. All we hear instead is an algebraic attempt to explain slow factory production, which by any logic ought to have been plain weeks ago (seeing as they have, by all accounts been 'in production' since September?!) Don't worry, I won't bother either the Forum, or F(x) any more. Support are clearly are kept as ill-informed as us customers of any meaningful shipping information 🙁

I have: PM'd @Waxberry via the forum; referenced him in a comment; tweeted him directly, with a link to a forum comment - > asking for a % percentage of pre-orders incl. in the second batch .... Nothing to report 🙁 I guess the factory may not have reported this yet?

the reason I asked for a percentage is that @Waxberry stated "... will be bigger...". just 'bigger' than what F(x)tex already acknowledged was a small first shipment doesn't sound like something that will fulfill all preorders, so we're back to a guessing game of 'my understanding...' again 🤔

What percentage of pre-orders will be fulfilled with the 2nd batch please? 50%??
