Figure it'd be nice to replace but haven't been able to track down a replacement. Addendum: latest info says we are looking at approximately 11cm by 3.6cm dimensions and the connector has a label of FH-F88003B-FPC. I guess we should be pretty sure that a new is of same physical composition and has at the least the same capacity as the original, so the electronics will not try to overcharge it - dependent on how dumb/clever the small circuitry between the cells and the phone is.... dt.white 62 Posted March 30, 2023 Share Posted March 30, 2023 I've been recently looking into this myself given the deterioration of the battery (currently approx. 73% health 😬) and having checked the FCC filings (can be found at https://fccid.io/2AUCLQX1000/Internal-Photos/internal-Photos-4458173) you can see that the battery dimensions are roughly 110mm x 36mm. The connector also has labeling on it (FH-F88003B-FPC) although not sure if this is a specification or unique to the cable that's used in the filing. In addition I've contacted Cellonic (https://www.cellonic.eu/) as a long shot, to see if they either already stock a battery of the same spec/dimensions/connector or would be willing to produce one. 1 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

We have fulfilled some of the battery purchases on IGG. We previously announced already that the battery listed on IGG is NOT compatible with Pro1, and have asked those who ordered for the Pro1 battery on IGG to contact us. So they would all fit vertically and then the other aspect is the width/depth. Thanks for getting the maximum dimensions of 11cm x 3.6cm. Definitely a good place to start aside from the actual connection. The rest is just lithium which we could potentially cram 4000mah given the smaller sizes being identical to our larger batteries. I've also had a quick look back through the FCC filing images, and attached I've highlighted the connector terminal on the board, no markings that I could see but perhaps it might be identifiable at some point? Seeing it in some iPhone repair videos and then most batteries (ie for Pixel) have what looks to be the part that snaps into it. We would need some close ups, or even disassembled batteries... But sure we could be lucky that there are only connecting wires between the plug and the cells. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

My bad wording.... sorry, What I meant was if there are any circuitry between the plug and the cable going into the cells. Can you see or fell any 'chip', or is it just the wires that goes directly from the plug? IF there are some sort of circuitry, we will need to mimic that if we try with a different battery.
