Ones more for all Germans: Activation of the hardware keyboard QWERTZ and the yellow keys without installation of FinQwerty: System → Languages and input → Physical keyboard → Builtin keyboard → "German Android keyboard" System → Keys → EXTRAS: Other keys → Hardware keyboard: Layout "qwertz" and Custom keymap "on" After that, the key layout works perfectly, including the yellow arrow keys and the yellow special characters, like ! "§ $% & / () =?` @ € µ

@zundappchef, I agree with @netman that you should still receive the first one. My impression from following this forum is that there are just a few extremely unlucky people left who ordered last year and still don't have it. I'm one of them, too, having ordered in September 2019. Now, after a few e-mails in which I was given the offer to change my order from QWERTZ keyboard (which still seems to be out of stock) to QWERTY, I've been told to expect tracking details from Hong Kong within a few more days, and I'm just as excited because the Moto Z3 Play which I bought as a stopgap last year alre

My payments worked fine for me. My (first) Pro 1 was via the website way back when they first became available. Used a Visa debit card, worked perfectly. This new Pro1-X was via a different Visa debit card from a different bank, but also worked perfectly. (AUS) Maybe getting a bank account with a linked debit card is the way to go?

The campaign is open for few hours anymore. I decided to take spare battery also so I can change the battery myself if ever needed. XDA secret perk seems to be still available.

It's shocking that you do not have the first one yet, maybe something went wrong? I would try contacting them via the contact form rather than e-mail, maybe their spam filters are blocking you. Also tagging @Erik here sometimes helps he is the hero when email support fails 😅❤️

pro1 x is shipping in march,, so expect it to come by september.

I got 4, almost 5 days of my glorious Pro1 and then the demons came back yesterday, the same day support asked me to send it to them. So my Pro1 has gone off to the UK and I will be sadly keyboardless for a while for the first time in a year (except that I haven't really been able to use it much for 6 weeks anyway.) 😞

I asked my bank to sort it out but that didn't work and now I'm running out of time. I asked FxTec support if they could bill me directly and @Erik mentioned they could do that so I'll wait patiently until they get a chance to process my support request.

Yes, that's the one. All my keys work perfectly with it. Maybe it's a keymapping issue within the linux server? Try and use xev to monitor input. Linuxdeploy mounts my phones Pictures, Documents and Downloads folder to my chroot's ~/ folders, so when I download inside or outside both sides can see it. I don't know how to handle mounts manually. Check my page and check the section on encryption keys, that was quite important.

yeah you might have to call your bank and tell them to remove the VCAS hold on your account for that transaction. its a visa block for international orders (sometimes)...

There was an attempt to do sticky FN keys on Lineage gerrit but it wasn't done well. I would like to tie that to the keyboard sticky flag but don't know if that is easy to do. Or, I guess it could be another custom keyboard setting.

I saw one reference earlier in the thread to banking apps working fine. Has anyone else tried out other apps with security requirements? I'm specifically of enterprise provisioning stuff like Microsoft Intune Company Portal. I'm actually using my Pro1 for work (THIS IS WHAT KEYBOARDS ARE MADE FOR!!) and I don't want to switch from stock to 17.1 or any custom ROM if it can't support Intune...

I had same issue, you must go in system - advanced options - Keyboard and then : Layout : qwertz Custom keymap : ON so it works perfect for me

After purchasing the fx pro last year i never recieved it , i tried email and i did get a nice respond back but no banana in the end ,i stil even have the reciept of payment and the invoice of the device never recieved it and im stil hopping it wil come in the next batch of shipping but i stil have my blackberry priv and it stil works . i am stil disapointed not recieving the original one but what can ya do . right wait thats about it then there was going to be a big anounchment from fx tech and u could sign up for it i was even waiting for the email to recieve , and i follo

I do too. They said something to the effect of they had no way to know for sure that would solve the problem. Sounds like a change in policy to me. I worry a little bit because the problem is sometimes intermittent.
