  1. On asking when my device was likely to ship, I received this response on 18/11/2021: Thank you for reaching out, we expect deliveries to be fulfilled by the end of this month - worse case December. Sorry to not having a specific ETA for you. Keep a look out for our news and updates specially on Indiegogo.

  2. Calm down people. It's a minuscule company, making infinitesimal numbers of phones. You must be quite new around here for assuming they will be on time. They have never been. 🙂 Still, they have shown that they love their project and do everything in their power to deliver to their customers. The original Pro1 was delayed by months. But many (probably most?) eventually got their phones, including myself. Please just try to chill.

  3. You obviously didn't quite understand what he was saying. He said, in addition to the general problem of reliably getting fully-functional copies of the display panel itself (for which the sellers on Aliexpress do not qualify), there could also be a shortage in some of the additional parts that make the screen assembly Fxtec are offering as a replacement, which is substantially more than just the panel. The assembly also includes the casing plus several other components like front camera and speaker. You do have noticed that there have been supply problems worldwide for quite some time wi

  4. Hopefully we can all expect to receive our devices soon, I feel the device and the company are quite underrated and surprised the device isn't more popular considering it is a rather high spec phone with great functionality compared to the functional gravestones that Apple and other google-laden devices that other companies sell. Hopefully the company shall grow and there will be a much greater demand for the devices it would be very pleasing to see these on the mainstream - one can only hope. They appear to have reversed sideways regarding the presence of a physical keyboard, features and mul

  5. If you go to the project's Indiegogo site, there's a menu bar "STORY – FAQ – UPDATES – COMMENTS", and when you select UPDATES, you'll see that there have been frequent (monthly) updates, with the last one being from 28th October. You don't need an Indiegogo account to read them. Also, I've tried to copy those updates as they appear (which I also receive per mail as a backer) here in the forum into this thread: Just for the record, my personal state in this affair is that I'm waiting for two phones, one Pro1 ordered per website in September 2019, and one Pro1X ordered through Indiegogo in

  6. Successfully installed OTA update 18.1-20211122-NIGHTLY-pro1 yesterday, but had that hiccup from October again.

  7. So the next update will be "all the phones are packed ready to be sent out tomorrow"?! That sounds too good to be true though I certainly wouldn't complain.

  8. It was this one : lineage-16.0-20201026-nightly-pro1-signed.zip All versions of lineageOS 16 I used had the same problem with the camera. This is an excellent news, indeed!

  10. To TechEthnu1-- Thanks for your post. Yes, Fx(tec), we are all waiting for our phones (11 months for me). Specifically I would like confirmation sent to my email when my device is shipped, with tracking (as mine will be sent to the USA). Can we expect that? I did get a response on 25 October that the "November shipping date" was on track-- so some of us at least should be getting notifications within the next few days-- right? Thank you for responding, but I was not happy that aside from that one-liner of substance, I was referred to the Indiegogo site for "updates" which turned out to

  11. In case that function is really important to you, I have got this one: UGREEN USB C Hub Ethernet with 4K 60Hz HDMI USB C Adapter LAN with HDMI, RJ45, 100W PD, SD/microSD, 2 USB 3.0 (though I remember buying it at lower price than 50 €). All features of that hub work in LineageOS 16.0 and I thus would expect them to work in 18.1, too. That said, performance-wise, the Ethernet adapter does not even remotely reach the advertised 1 Gbit/s: using iperf3 I measure ~150 Mbit/s up and ~230 MBit/s down. On the same network, with the same peer, I easily get 300-400 MBit/s via the Pro1's W

  12. Something that might be interesting: I also had the issue with blurred images at far distances. Fascinatingly, after updating the device from LOS 16 to 18 (Android 9 to 11), the camera works fine again. I don't know the exact version I was running at but if you're encountering the same problem maybe a software update can help... Obviously, Android 11 brings new problems since apps aren't adapted to it yet.

  13. Even though Fxtec runs the website, this is just a user forum; Fxtec does not publish official statements here. Still, they do publish monthly updates about how the preparations for production are going for the Pro1X on Indiegogo, which have been copied into this thread here, too: Indiegogo backers also get that information by email. It just seems that the people who ordered straight from the website instead of using Indiegogo don't get as much love...

  14. C'mon... it's not like the phone was released just yesterday or they're using some other display for the X. It is the kind of part which it should be always in stock and provisioned. Also, they're selling it as a spare from the begining. No valid excuses fot not having it in stock.

  15. Thanks. I have two kinds of similar HUBs and I think I have only tried them under stock OS... However, my USB connection of Pro1 is not really good, I am having trouble also using my thermal camera but I have just realized the problem is coming from the connector of my Pro1 and not at the micro USB --> Type-C convesion of the camera... I would need to replace the USB board. 😞 However, HDMI worked for me maybe a week ago when I have tried it (but very haphazardly thanks to my Type-C connector) while it did not work on an early version of LineageOS 18.1
