Next week should be the start of production according to the newest IGG update 🙂

So here's the thing. Periodically I send the guys messages just to say hi, wish them Happy New Year, see how their families are doing. I'm nice to them. I treat them like human beings. I contact the guys in China to wish them Happy Lunar New Year and exchange pics of our cats. They are really sweet people. When I ask them a question about shipping dates or updates, it has never taken more than 24 hours to get a reply. I didn't intend to buy another phone but my husband wanted one. But I had happily been loving my phone for a year or so and still continued to keep in touch with them. Why?

I see and fully support your point that aggressive ranting about F(x)tec, as is popular on the IGG forum, does not help anyone and certainly will not lead to better communication. However, what you are insinuating is also wrong: customers should not need to be "friends" with companies they do business with in order to get support queries answered. Anyway, your "system" is not scalable: if we all had personal ties with the guys at F(x)tec, their mailboxes would be flooded with cat pictures in addition to our user requests. I do not see how that would improve responsiveness ... 😉

It is appreciated. Unfortunately, my Pro1 is still in the shop so I'm out of the loop right now (not suprisingly, nor unexpected—knew it would take time when I sent it in). I'm always happy to see it is still going. Looking forward to getting back and hoping, maybe, there might be an AICP for the Pro1x eventually.

Update to April 6, with March 5 security patch using OTA went smoothly. Known keyboard bug still there (see lineage thread) This thread seems rather stale, so perhaps I should stop reporting every weekly update?

Fastboot flashing procedure went flawless under win10. Unfortunately the phone got stuck in a boot loop, changed the active slot, but still didn't boot. Did a EDM flash instead, so now the phone boots up as it should on stock software.

As I have reported my phone working just fine on ATT in New Jersey... I thought it's important to let you know that I'm currently in St Louis, MO for a short trip and it's working fine here too.

They also have the advantage of having x86 emulation, thus pretty much everything that runs on Windows will work. You can always try to get WSL working in it, lol.

When I placed my order for the case I have I bought one and loved it. Then I ordered 6 more. I have gone through 1 of that stash. The margin fixed it - wow this is so much better! I put some self adhesive 20mm epdm foam on the back of the device. The primary intention was that it stands upright for filming but it actually handles a lot better too. Good thing i don't plan on putting it in jeans pockets.

The reason for flashing my phone was the fix the issue with the touch unresponsive margins on the sides, but this time it didn't work, so I still have that behavior. Any idea why?
