  1. Okay, I found the solution. This "member title" is actually considered to be sort of an exclusive perk for active users who have contributed a lot in the forums. In my Admin control panel, I was able to find the current threshold to "unlock" members title - 500 content posts. Considering @Hook's suggestion is very constructive, I've lowered the threshold to 0 contents required (unless there's any thoughts on this?), meaning all new/old users can set their own titles now. Enjoy! ๐Ÿ˜„

  2. I may be dumb but I cannot find "member title" field. I have only birthday and about me fields. Am I missing something?

  3. So, the speaker issue is definitely improving. With the battery fully charged (and /sys/class/power_supply/battery/voltage_now >~ 4100000 ยตV), the tapping sound reappeared sometimes while changing the volume of a playing youtube video, though not to the extend to make the video unwatchable. Now, with the battery charge at 72% (/sys/class/power_supply/battery/voltage_now ~ 4000000 ยตV), I'm back to "cannot reproduce" ... I am now quite confident that this problem will quickly go away with ageing of the battery, as others have observed, and I regret opening the Pro1-X for this (

  4. Don't know why I didn't notice this before. I always liked signatures in forums so that folks could see, whether asking or answering, what devices you had. However, we do have a "member title" field in our profile. So I'm using it to let everyone know I only have a Pro 1 so that people can regard any answers I have about a Pro1X with suspicion. ๐Ÿ˜„ It's still a good idea to specify what model you are talking about in thread titles and posts as things can get confusing with the two different yet similar phones, especially if people have not listed under their names, but it is still usefu

  5. Strange. I get this just fine with either desktop Firefox or on my Pro1 using either Fulguris or Firefox (screenshot is FireFox on Pro1). Don't know why others aren't. ๐Ÿค”

  6. As far as I understand, you can put your phone model in the "about me" field. But the title (with your phone model, as expected) only appears in the "computer version" of the webpage. In android you will have to "click" fist on the user profil to see more information, or switch your page in "computer version".

  7. I think that you should be able to make automation to change keyboard app in portrait and landscape position. So then you can use Swiftkey for landscape and other keyboard for portrait if you prefer so. 8. As far as I remember well, there was a thread about full display assembly (sold by F(x)tec) is not compatible between Pro1 and Pro1X as something had to be changed. ...but as far as I know, screen is still compatible, there is no different subversion of it. One problem what has affected Pro1 about screen replacing is a different margin setting in screen's internal firmware but stock firmware has accommodated and one of the last firmwares has introduced an automatic setting of that value. I think (and I hope) it was also incorporated in Pro1X's firmware. If that would not been app

  9. Yes, I have noticed this, but use the device more as a cell phone than a terminal. I would think it could be turned off and on at will as well. Titled adjusted per your request. Gosh darn it! I figured there had to be a way. Guess I'll be looking into Swiftkey. Thanks.

  10. My above speed test was via Vodafone LTE in a sub-optimal but (with the Pro1) ok location. Pro1X WiFi connection for me is similar to the Pro1, too. Only in edge cases where the Pro1 just kept up the connection the Pro1X now just doesn't โ€“ which unfortunately describes my bedroom ๐Ÿ˜† If the WiFi connection is lost, though, I usually get a somewhat usable mobile connection, so it isn't a catastrophe. Possibly have to relocate the closest WiFi 'satellite' box a bit (although I remember finding a place for the Pro1 to connect was already a bit of an adventure...)

  11. Replying to my own question: Seems like it doesn't look very good for HDMI-out on the Pro1X, at least when it comes to alternative OS's. Unsurprisingly, I can confirm that my all-in-one UGREEN USB-C dock, which works flawlessly with the Pro1, does nothing regarding HDMI when connected to the Pro1X (also Ethernet does not work with the X btw ...). After a bit of reading, I wonder whether the solution that was presented during development of the Pro1X is actually using any native "HDMI-out" features of the SoC. Rather, it seems to implement an MHL interface and needs a proprietary APK

  12. Yes, I did. For very long time the phone just blink "red light dot" (Notification Light). The phone still looping, showing the "F" logo, and boot again (and again and again...). Is this the end for my Pro1?
