Actually no, I don't want a large keyboard. It just has to be big enough. Old phones like my Photon Q and G2 (Desire Z) were smaller but had perfectly comfortable keyboards to type on. If you're thumb typing you want keys big enough to press but a device that's still small enough that you're not traveling far for keys. The pro1 is almost as tall and wide as an iphone Xs Max. Too big in my opinion. I still maintain they should've made the phone smaller, but what do I know?

Absolutely. I tend to wait until release or close to it before I start playing with a new version. It just takes too much time and work to keep up with the changes before that point. I'll keep an eye on Lineage and AICP to see when they get close to doing releases.

Yeah, I already saw that and read it, I would need a "real wallet case", the Snakehive one is just too small and barely has any pockets/storage. and the problem with that setup is that the screen itself is not protected from sides etc.

Hi @tdm Is there any chance you would try to get AICP R working on our phones? I prefer by far the AICP Rom but the non working volte give me more problem than I though as they started shutting down old antenna here and LOS 18 got it working so for now I'm there waiting

I ran into some weird behaviour with SwiftKey on LineageOS, that took me a bit to figure out. Landscape mode: at the beginning of a text field and after symbols like "-" pressing Shift and then writing would lead to two capital letters Portrait mode: "-" Shift and then writing would lead to a space after the symbol and only one capital letter All options for insertion of symbols etc. in SwiftKey were off. But after looking around in the system settings for a bit I saw that there the option for spellcheck (by AOSP) was still active (Why ever?). Turning it off solves the unwanted

What wallet cases can you recommend for the Pro 1? Is anyone using one on theirs? What about protection of the screen? Has anyone found a suitable bumper case to be used with a wallet case?

That is exactly what I meant. Well yes, but if there is only one phone in the lineup, it would be wise to make it good for the average hand size. And I believe it is slightly bigger than what would have been the perfect average. But of course as a small company you have to take what screen size you can fit into your design! And after all I am really happy with the keyboard.

I have read posts by Chen that could be interpreted in that way. But is this really an active and official F(x)tec development goal? I doubt it, as I thought they they do not even have the codes themselves and just license the blobs. More likely, it could just mean that they support community-driven reverse-engineering of drivers by providing test devices to Linux kernel developers. That would certainly be a good thing.
