LineageOS 19.1 Official Release for Pro1

Recommended Posts

(lineage-19.1-20221010-nightly-pro1-signed.zip on October 5 security patch installed smoothly using adb sideload and MindTheGapps-12.1.0-arm64-20220605_174313)

Still with the keyboard bug introduced that messes accessibility apps (works on AICP R/S based on Android 11/12) see e.g. this.

Google pay working here with magisk v24.3 for some time already and works on LOS 19.1 too. -Zygisk mode on -Enforce denylist -Put com.google.android.gms and com.google.android.gms.unsta

While all our work is public, we don't necessarily post a neon sign saying, "Break ur phone here!" 😉 The Pro1-X work is moderately stable now and has been moved to the official LineageOS org on GitHub

This reminded me: whatever happened to split screen since 19.1?

Still there.  A little odd... you first actually have to launch the two apps you want to split.  Then you have to go to the app switcher.  I use the old navigation bar, so I just tap the square to get to the switcher.  Then hold the icon over the first app you want on the split screen.  It offers the option to "split left".  Then it will ask you to pick the card for the second app.  Just tap that apps card and the two apps will pop up in split screen.  Used to be easier and more flexible, but I think that's probably Android 12.

Spontaneous boot trying to update apps!!! But happy after boot...

Status bar spontaneously disappear.... ???? Happened twice within the first minutes of 'jumping around', and reappeared spontaneously too. Maybe some of all these damned gesture things I have triggered???

Updated via OTA.  The usual 2 hours to finish, but seeing neither of the symptoms you described so far.  I don't use gestures,

Updated OTA to lineage-19.1-20221114-nightly-pro1-signed.zip with the November 5th security patch.

Installed smoothly, left root intact,  Still takes about 2.5 hours to do the OTA.  I have no idea why, but I'm too lazy to set up flashing. It works and I am sitting at a computer for that 2.5 hours.
