  1. I'll reserve my excitement as has become standard operating procedure around here, but I'll take any good news I can get.

  2. I really enjoyed my Unihertz Titan Slim, but what ultimately made me decide to move on was its small screen. It's an excellent phone considering its price, delivering more than its worth. While I appreciated the keyboard, I had some issues with the layout. Eventually, I switched to a Samsung Fold, and more recently, I upgraded to the Fold 5, which has been an incredible experience. You can fold it halfway and use it similarly to the Pro1 X, but instead of a physical keyboard, it has a touchscreen with vibrating feedback, providing a similar feel. The next time Unihertz releases a pho

  3. It seems like many Titan power users install the Blackberry Keyboard app Perhaps something could be made based on FinQwerty, at least for stock? Using the FinQwerty code to fix a keyboard layout issue the Pro1X (with stock) had was easy, so I guess I will have a look at that when I get the phone. There already are FinQwerty layouts for Blackberry PRIV and KEYone, by the way.

  4. It seems like many Titan power users install the Blackberry Keyboard app to improve behaviour in that respect. Have you tried that by any chance? As written above, I'd be most interested in a way to fluently enter all those symbols for coding and terminal work, i.e. things like | > { } [ ] ...

  5. @Hook, he needs the sources, apparently including the exact building configuration. ROMs contain only the resulting binaries in executable form. @pAn : You probably have good reasons for what you are doing. But out of interest: If you kernel project works well with LineageOS, why don't you just use that?

  7. My experience on this. You need to flash back to stock before flashing Ubuntu touch. But mine is a pro1-x

  8. Sorry to say that for me it has proven almost useless as the WiFi is EXTREMELY unstable here. Good for you that you are not hit by the issue, that sound a lot like what some people are complaining on with the Pro1X. Here It can be used for test and as a backup device, but would be unacceptable as a daily driver.

  10. Even if you get a Pro1X soon, it is always nice to have a backup-device, and the Slim is a quite cheap option, at the least for a PKB phone,

  11. My Pro1 worked perfectly with GenMobile (T-Mobile based MVNO). SimpleMobile and UltraMobile (also using T-Mobile's stations) claimed that the IMEI was incompatible due to "VoLTE being unsupported" and the cellular shop couldn't sell/activate the SIM.

  12. I reckon there's 720 on that pallet, any other guesses. p.s. Not implying that's the only pallet, just curious how many Prawns you can fit on a pallet :)

  13. The "stock" kernel sources (you didn't mention if you are on Pro1 or Pro1-X) are available. That's what the LineageOS trees are using. Of course @EskeRahn is right that those do not contain the source code of all the (mission-critical) vendor blobs.

  14. If you separate the top part, then the top one which holds the display is plastic and the bottom part which is the display base and which contains the display assembly, is metal.
