Hmmm ok. Being trying to research this. Our device reported supports CDMA/EDVO BC0 (850 MHz) and BC1 (1900 MHz). If I understand correctly, the voice parts of cdmaOne/CDMA2000 are 1xAdvanced and 1xRTT. I think Pro¹ has this. It certainly was supposed to. But since nobody has yet activated it on Sprint or Verizon I guess can't be sure. IS-95 is 2G cdmaOne. CDMA2000 split between voice, data/voice and data, and voice is CDMA2000 1xRTT. Then 3g for voice is CDMA2000 1xRTT Rev E(aka 1x advance). for data its 1xEV-DO Rel 0 for 2.75g then for 3g, its EV-DO Rev. A. 3.5g data was EV-D

No, Verizon users cannot get CDMA data, because Verizon won't activate it, but thats nothing to do with the device. The only way people are using Verizon on Pro¹ now is LTE only after having it activated on another device. So Verizon doesnt even know the Pro¹ MEID as verizon is tieing cdma service to the meid of the "mule" device. I assume the answer to all three questions is yes, but if you're right that they didn't include CDMA voice bands, then Fxtec has been lieing to us a very long time, and I find that unlikely. But now I'm going to look into it further. Why would they include

Have you looked at the specs for this phone? We have all the CDMA radios and bands. Verizon not activating us doesn't change the fundamental fact that this phone is indeed a CDMA device, and can operate without LTE or GSM. From site homepage:

Just wanna take issue with that. This phone supports GSM & CDMA. I'm still hoping to activate 2nd SIM on Sprint MVNO... Just cuz Verizon hasn't approved Pro¹ (yet?) for use on their CDMA network, doesn't mean the phone doesn't support CDMA. I do understand that people are using Verizon on stock devices with just LTE (without GSM or CDMA) with a SIM card first activated on another device, but for that workaround to be effective, need voice over lte working.

Lineage Test910has Android security patch level from March 5, 2020. I use a magisk module under LOS called safetypatch that makes it pass. I dont think re-flashing will do anything different. Besides bootloader & root, lineage test versions dont have selinux, unsigned, etc, so more reasons to fail.

Anyone know any real good deals as a result of coronavirus, etc? I spent some time searching cruise ship rates, seems they're not heavily discounted. And the way they advertise is tricky, had to actually go thru adding to cart to see all the fees and actual rates, etc, but needless to say a trip thats advertised as 42/night ends up twice that.... And apparently rules prevent direct erson-to-person resale. I found disneyland tickets a little cheaper than normal, so did buy those....

Another recently added feature not yet in stock - working sound! The audio crackle is now gone. So combined with the previous keyboard fixes, games are now far more enjoyable. Only a couple more bugs to squash, and LIneage will leave the testing stage and become official.

This app cannot force rotation, but I did think of a good use case for it. Discord, which on stock only works in landscape when auto-rotate is turned on, ignores the stock slider setting for landscape lock. I'm trying to find an app that will force landscape when I use google hangouts with keyboard open, without remaining force landscape when I close keyboard, and without overriding my auto-rotation settings. I've also submitted this as a feature request for Lineage, which would be even better than an app... I've tried a couple apps that can force landscape all right, but they do

For what its worth, substratum works on stock pie for dark theme, as reported by @elvissteinjr It seems to me I'm already pretty dark under Lineage tho, where are you seeing all this white? Lineage settings menu backgrounds all dark... you can set your own launcher backgrounds (I use nova and set both the wallpaper and app drawer pure black, and changed the search background from white to charcoal)... I used dark theme youtube vanced... discord has dark theme... riot is dark by default... even play store black background... edit: there's even a setting for Dark Mode that

I've also used this feature on PQ to sign into public wifi and share it with other devices, so I tried it now, and yep not working. As soon as I press the on toggle, it immediately toggles back off, and see the word error under Wi-Fi Hotspot. I also tried it with wifi off and mobile data on. same result. So it's not just a wifi sharing issue, seems hotspot doesn't work at all.

@Laska If you're not worried about factory reset, just run lineage, it includes similar keyboard fixes. I saw in another thread you removed gapps anyway, with lineage just don't install them in the first place...

Not necessarily simpler, but simpler if you have the option set. If you've turned on the developer options for advanced reboot menu, one of the choices on the restart menu is recovery, and that does work to reboot directly into recovery. Dunno why adb fastboot recovery doesn't work tho, probably a slot thing.

Supertuxkart is fun. But it seems you gotta leave the steering wheel on the screen for keyboard controls to fully work. Most other games I've tried there is some way to turn off the screen controls/overlay stuff except this one.

Just a re-ping on the fingerprint stuff too. It's not important or critical cuz I dont really care if fingerprint works or not, and if its just me, then I guess no worries. But, I have nothing related in persist but can't save a fingerprint on lineage as mentioned earlier.

You obviously don't play any games or you'd have noticed it by now! I was referring to the audio crackle that is present in pretty much every game. This is a stock problem too I first reported in december (here on forum) and included a recording of the 'ding in solitaire express from play store which was the only game I had installed at the time. When I made the video playing mario kart under dolphin emu that I recently shared, I used the trick of plugging in the power cable to fix the sound which seems to only work on lineage, not stock. The built-in root option only allows root from adb shell. It doesn't give apps root permission. To give apps permission (and get on device root shell) requires an add-on to be flashed from recovery. To get rid of it, you flash the remover from recovery. They're both available from the official lineage extras download page: https://download.lineageos.org/extras I suspect based on what you linked, you're right that to use Magisk with lineage ota updates one will still have to re-flash magisk after every update, or decrypt data for long term workaround.
