  1. Besides that tho as mentioned, the print wears of the sticker very quickly. If you don't remove the sticker right away, you'll loose your sticker serial number forever 😞
  2. When I opened form his link it opened on the wish-list tab I'd never noticed before. So note there is a bugs tab too.
  3. https://unofficialtwrp.com/twrp-3-3-1-root-fxtec-pro-1/ Anyone know anything about that?
  4. I dont recall ever having problems installing extensions on firefox mobile... currently I have uBlock Origin working just fine.... just click the three dots for menu then select Add-ons.
  5. I would imagine the qwertz keyboard map that was developed for sailfishos could be used/ported with ubu touch.... But the way fxtec did the hardware/driver qwertz keyboard doesnt actually send the keycodes equivilent to print as Eske explained.
  6. I wonder what happens if you hook it up to a touch-screen capable monitor... does touch work like on the phone? I have no such monitor to test with...
  7. I'm looking forward to being able to re-assign at least the right slant arrow. For people using international layouts (including us international), it could be useful as another right-alt key in addition to Sym. For people using plain english on qwerty, it could be useful as a slash/quesitonmark key.
  8. Dont worry about that. They're shipping more in the next few weeks.
  9. I don't think you need root for adb shell. Just enable it in developer options. Tab on your build number repeatedly to enable developer options in about phone. adb shell is run from your pc, not device. Usually via usb cable. However, you can cat /dev/kmsg on device with root. But if it reboots, which is your goal, you wouldn't be able to see the last message on your screen very easily 😉
  10. @Tsunero This is a known issue. It is resolved in Lineage. Its one line of code. Fxtec just needs to apply it to stock... Pretty sure I first reported it in November or December last year.....
  11. i know im on topic but wtf, did anyone figure out why fxtec doesnt fix simple bugs?
  12. Android Viruses? On Earth? Really? Yeah these are rampant....
  13. Some people already discussed this, you may wanna check out their thoughts. https://community.fxtec.com/topic/2585-which-car-holder
  14. Not I. But both AT&T and T-Mobile (and their MVNOs) are no issues whatsoever with Pro¹. Verizon is possible but complicated as not officially supported. Nobody's really tried Sprint.
  15. I'm not sure if this is by design... When I use fulguris to open a web link from another app, it opens fulguris to my previous tab, with the link I just opened in another tab I have to switch to manually.
  16. I'm sure because I posted that message from Pro¹, and at the time wasn't sober enough to bother figuring out why longpress stopped bringing up the accents. And I am using lineage. Anyways now confirmed the issue. It's @Slion's Fulguris browser. For some reason it ignores longpress accents. Not just swiftkey, aosp/gboard too.
  17. For now, perhaps figure out why it's impossible to copy a URL from address bar. 🙂 But if you can build as desktop instead of mobile, that'll improve lots.
  18. there is something funky about longpress accents with SwiftKey. For example, they no longer work for me. eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee but they did b4 after I tried when Diggs said I was wrong when I thought they didnt so I think it must be app specific. pro1111111111111111111111111111111111111111111 i can no longer get longpress accent menu and dunno why I'll test more later and update my table, but for now, I consider longpress accents unreliable, at best, with SwiftKey and dunno how to get them back.
  19. how bout zoom controls... override defaults... ctril- and ctril+ try viewing on phone w/o shrinking well wtf I can't evrn paste url fromm another tab and somehow I closed it trying to copy the url ctrl+shift+T doesn't bring tab back edit: something is definitely fucked up just trying to copy/paste a URL from a tab to a msg, something so basic is really annoying me afterthoughts: I think why chromium/chroot/sfos is so good on pro is cuz it's real desktop version, not mobile version, so includes all keyboard commands + the finger scroll and pinch st
  20. Is there any list of working keyboard commands? I know F11. But how bout to close a tab? Not ctrl-f4... a dunno what else to try or when to look... When I played with chromium in sailfish Ubuntu chroot, I the coolest thing was all the normal keyboard shortcuts worked - cuz it was the desktop version of browser... a yet it still supported fingerscroll, etc. That kinda experience in Android would be cool and maybe can happen here...
  21. If start typing an address into url bar, and see 5 rows of suggestions, it is awkward to select one. I tried down arrow and then press enter, but it instead searches for the few letters i'd typed (as if I hadn't moved down and highlighted something)... Ideally, enter should open the highlighted selection. The closest I've gotten is tab. It opens the one below what is highlighted (unless you're on the very last one)... Perhaps this is expected behavior for tab, so that while you are typing you can hit tab to automatically open the first suggestion (without moving down the list a
  22. I only barely know a little Japanese from when I took it in high school. But you motivated me to figure out swiftkey, and yeah the only thing I had to do to change it to the way I want was not set it for hiragana. So I'm gunna update my table and first post, cuz Swiftkey seems to work great for Asian languages, the way I want to type them anyway. Certainly better than gboard with its popup boxes. But, Chinese works better than Japanese cuz have to use ctrl with the numbers for Japanese (like english) or tap the screen, which I actually found documented in settings, so it's not a
  23. I used to use that layout exactly that in fact. But I found I kept bumping the Fx key accidentally, so I moved up a row.
  24. As a matter of fact, scroll up half a page, you'll see a screenshot of my rvgl setup; I use similar for other games. And here's Supertux: With Supertux, what i find awkward is up/down, fortunately don't have to do that much. But in first-person type games where you often go up/down as well as left/right, I'd imagine it's fairly awkward. wasd is not better when using thumbs. Sonic CD doesn't let you change keyboard controls and its wasd...
