  1. I'd like to buy this now please. πŸ™‚ Still ve-ery interested!
  2. Plantronics headset, that comes with a box with built-in stand, charger and battery bank. Great little device, except it doesn't work with Sailfish OS at the moment for some reason. It's on the list of problems to fix. Oh! and it also comes with a usb dongle to connect wirelessly to pc. So it's both bluetooth and usb. https://www.kjell.com/se/produkter/mobilt/horlurar/bluetooth-headset/plantronics-voyager-5200-uc-paket-med-bluetooth-headset-p97201 (Swedish) https://www.amazon.com/Plantronics-VOYAGER-5200-UC-206110-01-Advanced-Bluetooth/dp/B01G49I2FA (I guess this one matches.) als
  3. Fixed it! Used a plastic guitar pick, prying tool from an old lcd replacement kit I got years ago. After some nervoud prying and nudging, it went back in. πŸ™‚ Thanks for all the help! πŸ™‚
  4. Something is definitely in the way when I try to press it back. No movement at all. I thought it was just a notch in the way, that it should hook onto to be held into place. And I've tried gently bending the edge outwards with my fingernail to be able to press down the keyboard, to no avail. It wont budge at all. Disassembly seems like the next thing to try.
  5. It could be the battery, is the battery on that side of the phone? I assume it is because of dropping the phone, but I noticed it when using the phone one day, not directly after a fall. We don't have a wiki here yet, right? I think I've read something about disassembling the phone before here in the forum...
  6. Hello there Pro1 experts! πŸ™‚ I have accidentally dropped my phone on the wooden floors a few times, no hard bumps mostly from our living room table on to the carpet actually. The problem is that I have noticed the the keyboard bulges out a bit, just at the edge. (The edge facing you when having the keyboard slid open) Now, what would be a good way of putting the keyboard back into place. I've tried gently nudging the plastic with my fingers and nails to push the keyboard down and latch on to the notch, with no success. I wouldn't want to be putting too much force into it. Sh
  7. Mediawiki should be a strong candidate, same as wikipedia. I've been using it for years. Make sure to restrict editing and install visual editor. πŸ™‚
  8. +1 for the scandi (swedish) layout. (I would like to buy the part and install it myself though, since I already have the qwerty version)
  9. This tool saved me. Thanks! I had to try different OS's and machines before i finally got everything to work, probably due to my own incompetence though. *Please note that EDL-mode needs to be restarted on the phone for each try. *also, try a USB2 port since USB 3 may have issues. (A usb2 hub can do the trick) This should be more advertised (is it "stickied"?), it's an essential tool. (Unless you are a hardware developer, and have the tools to unbrick it)
  10. I also tried turning the usb c cable upside down, but I think I read that post wrong. Might not have been the standard cable that was turned in an earlier post in this thread. πŸ˜› Anyway, made no difference.
  11. Hello, I'm one of the unlucky ones who accidentally formatted the wrong drive in Sailfish OS, thought I was being careful, but alas... I've been trying to follow this thread and the guide by you @tdm. Here is my what I've done so far: Windows 10 pressing both volume buttons and power for 20 seconds. waiting 5 seconds. connecting usb cable through usb2 hub to windows 10 laptop. opening zadig with administrator permissions, selecting "show all devices" and "QUSB_BULK" shows up. I select it and set WINUSB driver and click install driver. (usb id: 05c6 9008, wicd:
  12. Partille, Sweden near GΓΆteborg Got the phone. Using Sailfish OS. Android worked OK before I switched over. I'm in the official discord for the pro1 every day.
  13. just wanted too keep this thread alive. got my phone earlier this week. looking forward to seeing the swedish letters on a replacement part keyboard soon. πŸ™‚
  14. Hi! I had an issue with installing magisk and got help in the discord, wanted to mention it here since it might help others. πŸ™‚ I use Debian 9 Stretch stable, meaning that most of the time the software I install from the repos are older than the ones found on Ubuntu. Hoping that I could follow the guide on page 2 I stumbled on an error when flashing the magisk_patched.img file. fastboot flash boot magisk_patched.img target reported max download size of 536870912 bytes sending 'boota' (22080 KB)... OKAY [ 0.538s] writing 'boota'... FAILED (remote: (boota_a) No such partit
  15. Good list. Now they have something to work with. If they have the ability to alter the text. 2. It says this device will provide... should it be something like this device is provided with... our device. The sentence is a bit weird. But now it's been brought to attention, if they read the forums. πŸ™‚
  16. Im resetting the phone now. Will post a screenshot soon. Maybe they fixed it since i have downloaded 2 ota patches. πŸ™‚
  17. I also niticed that the numbers are very close to the edge of the screen. Might cause accidental touces on the screen.
  18. This is the only way i cpuld comfortably hold the phone when typing. Maybe there should be a ledge to comfortably rest the fingers on. When not typing i rest the index finges on the hinge, but that creates a weird angle when typing. How do you other users hold it? πŸ™‚
  19. Hey! Got my phone and booted it up. There was a misspelling in the text askin me if I had read the 2 documents pertaining to, i think privacy and how you handle my data. I will get a proper screenshot of this for you soon, will setup my phone again tomorrow. The agreement that must be accepted to use android on the phone. I guess it was written by fxtec? Maybe someone else also noticed this? Or maybe no one bothered to actually read the text before agreeing to it? πŸ˜›
  20. I spoke too soon though. Got my phone yesterday, then went and got my old n97 from the basement. They both have the same issue. A small gap. And i actually remember the extra noise noise the phone made each hard tap i made. Were can one get that felt tape? Any recommendations? (I live in sweden)
  21. The nokia n97 did not have that problem at all. Don't know about the n97 mini though. One of the n97 trailers from nokia has a tech guy showing off the "click" and "clack" noises that the phone makes when opening and closing it. πŸ™‚
  22. Reusing my old thread. The phone is finally on its way, and I'm looking around for accessories. Would this work as a telescopic game controller? Does anyone have any experience testing any of the telescopic thingies? Maybe the edge that overlaps the phone is in the way...
  23. Well. Is there a usb c dock that does everything but the linux switchy thing? - Output via hdmi - Usb hub - Charge passthrough - Possibly also memory card reader I found some docks for usb c, but thwy mention thunderbolt and I wouldn't expect the pro 1 to support that?
