i see, looks nice at 480-580. does anyone mess with the animation scales?? window/transition/animator scales at 1x ? any preferences ?

i also notice that i get no bars on the signal icon in the top right a lot of times. but calls still go through and texts. and call quality is very good even though it shows zero bars on my Tmobile. do you know for sure that people are calling you and texting you and its not going through?

what does that do for the phone if you change the DPI settings ? and to what settings (amount of DPI) do you change it to for your preference?

try it out for a few weeks, i'm sure you will get used to the keyboard ?

i think you're right, i should get another case, just for work. since that excess of at least 2 inches, would feel kind of flappy in the pocket, and would rather use the given snug fit case when outside of work.

hmm... if i press, juuuust at the right spot on top of the screen, and hold it with force, while pushing the sim card and holding that in place, with my middle finger, all the sounds go away, but then, the screen parts noise, starts to faintly come back into play, and i have to re-find another pressure point on the screen to hold down. i guess it could be the support arm that holds the sim card in place, maybe not the screen parts?

i think we are both right. i took out the sim tray, and left it out. i shaked it. and i do hear another type of faint, rattling in the screen parts. but, when i press down the on top of the screen with force, while shaking the device, i do not hear any more kind of rattling. then, as soon as i put back the sim tray, with the sim card, it started to have a louder crackling, rattling noise with the sim card inserted.

when i shake it, it sounds as if, the SIM card is not tight enough. i think that is what is ratting inside. but when i continuously tap on the outside of the sim tray, it rattles the actual sim tray. two distinctive different sounds.

OTA went smooth for me. i don't have any add ons, gapps, root, magisk.

i hope dust isn't easily infiltrated into the phone's microphone? was this a brand new out of the factory issue? or did this problem occur over time with your daily use of the phone? I'm now worried, since i work in very dusty environments every day.. but i always keep my phone in the carrying pouch, that they provided with the phone.

i usually just QC my phone for 30 minutes to 80ish%... i haven't really noticed the temp. but it lasts me a good day, even two days. from a 30 minute charge. and for the first 2 weeks, i let the phone on stand-by until fully drained. lasted about 7days, if not longer, for the battery to fully drain on stand by. then started my normal daily use.

well, that didn't take too long.. like 2-3 months from sending the old one, and getting the new replacement device?

i would not recommend a SIM, or a SD card.. i broke my SD card trying to open the sim tray. also a side note. is anyones SD card slot, rattling? like it clicks and feels loose when tapping it? and rattles while shaking. is this normal or should i contact support? the signal for my 4gLTE is terrible compared to my nokia 6.1. .. but i guess calls still go through and what not. good call quality though.

sorry for the noobness, but under settings>system>advanced>updater on the phone, i can download the new aug31 build. is this like the regular way of updating or do i have to update through pc, usb like the initial flash process with fastboot, command prompt etc.

hopefully we get that built in. because that add on that you recommended, does not work. i even tried rebooting with the disable backlight,, and still lights show up.

is there a way to toggle on and off the kbd backlight in lineage? is there a place where i can see all the kbd shortcut commands for lineage?

basically, what i found out, is that you should push from the middle. or as close to the middle for easy opening.

i wasn't able to bypass the privacy accept page from google.. but i did not ever insert my sim card in my phone. i did however use my wifi (kind of big mistake). i did not log into google for the set up either. and then i flashed it to lineage. if i would have known, that i can just boot straight into bootloader instead of agreeing to google, then that would have been the "safest" procedure.
